iKaraoke KS780-BT Bluetooth CD&G Karaoke System, Black

This is an amazing unit that has done better than I could have hoped. It plays the karaoke cd+g disks perfectly, with the song titles and lyrics displaying on the built in LCD screen. It included a single wired microphone, cables to connect to a television (and home audio system) and a cd+g disk with 5 songs. This unit is quite light and easy to move around. The LED light display on the front can be turned on or off. I love to sing with so many songs and truly enjoy karaoke, especially with no one around to hear me sing but myself... LoL I am actually singing closer to tone since getting this machine.This unit puts out an amazing amount of sound. The built in speakers are weak on the bass due to size, but over all, the unit still sounds good. The unit itself is a bit "plastic" feeling and could probably be damaged if not taken care of, but it is lasting and doing quite well for my purposes. I will edit and update this review soon. I do recommend this unit. Akai KS780-BT Bluetooth CD&G Karaoke System, Black Update - I love listening to the music on Amazon Prime using an Echo DOT! I had been using a cord from the audio out jack on the Echo DOT and plugging that into the RCA jacks on this Akai Karaoke machine. Well, the audio out jack on the Echo DOT became intermittent and noisy working with the cable. This appears to be a common problem with the Echo DOT units. I remembered reading that the Echo DOT has blue tooth function built in. I was easily able to link the Echo DOT to this Akai Karaoke machine with blue tooth. I am able to listen to crystal clear music again! I would add more stars to the review if it was possible. The Amazon Echo Dot works perfectly with the blue tooth on this unit.  Echo Dot (2nd Generation) - Black

My daughter loves it! She gets to sing all her songs from movies that she loves. It can show the lyrics on the karaoke machine and also plugs in to the tv if you want! Great sound. I got an extra speaker for duos. It's so much fun. Super adorable when I hear her singing with it from her room. Even great fun for adults. Great for a party. We hooked the bluetooth and played music from you tube. It can be used as just a cd player. Just a media player from your device. It is so versatile!

This is the second machine like this I have purchased from you. I have used this new one 3 times and all of a sudden the screen goes blank for a few seconds and then comes back on. Also the mike volume is at its max and I don't get a very loud sound. This was the same thing on the first one . I am not pleased with the performance of this machine . I like it but with these two features acting up it just doesn't work for me. Is there anything you can do like send me another machine ? If you would send me a free return label. I will send this one back to you. If u will replace it free of charge. Let me know soon because it says that I have until Dec. l to return it.

Bought for my 12 yr old daughters birthday. It was so much fun using it her friends. As a matter of fact, am a karaoke lover and I used it more than she did. The set up was straight forward, the sound was satisfactory for the purpose. Just needed to find a stand to keep it at an eye level. Using bluetooth and youtube was fun.

Researched many Karaoke machines for grandson's 7th birthday. Wanted machine we could use Karaoke CD's on as well as ability to connect to bluetooth for live Karaoke. So delighted with this machine. The sound is great and we love the flashing various colored lights. Purchased an extra microphone as well as a couple of CD's. Also able to use his mother's Karaoke CD's from when she was a little girl. I am amazed the quality of this machine for the very low price! Fun for the whole family. Extremely satisfied!!

I bought this for a party at work and was disappointed in that the microphone did not work - it sort of tripped in and out. The speakers were also weak and when the mike did work it affected the music volume and vice versa - altering the sound quality. Returning this unit.

This is a great machine! I was worried about the reviews but it has really great sound and is super easy to use right out of the box. I want to get a microphone with a longer cord so you are not so tired to the speaker. Phone connected easily via bluetooth and we were able to search for songs through youtube. Great and fun party machine!!

I'm old-school karaoke. Still have a ton of CD+G discs. My old karaoke deck is in storage. Wanted something that was quick and easy and most importantly, portable. This does the trick. The only two cons I can list are not really cons as I anticipated this going in: Sound quality of its own speakers is fair. Not going to blow you away. I connect it to a mini Bose speaker via the MP3 jack and problem is solved. 2nd is the included mic .. it's a cheapie. Knew that up front and it didn't matter. I have Shures I had planned to use anyway. At least it does have two mic inputs.PROS: Reads CD+Gs like a champ. Nice screen. Love that I can change keys. (that was THE MOST IMPORTANT selling feature, for me) Choosing tracks is a little funky. Basically pushing button until you find the one you want. Not a big deal. All in all, this unit is exactly what I needed. I highly recommend it.
