We bought this mask as a trial run for us and a bunch of our friends and we absolutely fell in love with it. We cannot express how easy this mask is to use, how wonderful it is to not have to fumble with thing in your mouth, and what a view you get with this mask! There are few other companies with the "same" mask, but it is not the quality of this one. We had a friend who bought another mask from a different company and it was crappy. The quality of the Octobermoon mask is amazing, the snorkel part that comes out of the water is much longer snorkel on this mask, the plastic is in a great dome and the views under the water is incredible. The straps are so flexiable and much easier to use than the plastic ones.Lastly the customer service from October moon is outstanding! They contacted me after each purchase asking if we were satisfied and what they could do better. We lost a piece that goes inside the mask and contacted them so we could buy a new one. They said it was under warranty and they would send me a new one at no cost. They really just cared that we not only were happy, but that we were enjoying our mask. I honestly cannot say enough great things about the product and the company! We will always keep with this mask! Thanks OctoberMoon!

The reason for 4/5 stars is due to the fact that the mask is not one piece (mask and snorkel remain together) like my others that I fold down to store. I bought this for my son and think the extra piece may soon go missing. He is scared of not being able to breath while swimming (7 yrs old) so I got it to boost his confidence in the water. This mask did just that! We had difficulties in the beginning with the fit but once that was worked out, he was moving and grooving. Thanks for an awesome product.

Do not buy this product! It is a waste of money! I purchased this for my 7 year old son for our trip to Hawaii and Hanauma Bay. We saw a classmate of his using it in the pool which is where we got the idea. My parents were so fond of the idea that they went ahead and purchased 3 more for the other grandchildren. After hauling them all the way to Hawaii (they are bulky and kind of heavy) from Alaska and on the buses to Hanauma Bay we were sorely disappointed. These basically do not work at all. It is almost impossible to get the seal on, and once you do water droplets will still leak slowly one at a time down your face. This wouldn't be a big deal in freshwater, but if you have ever opened your eyes in saltwater or Hawaii (where the salt feels stronger) you know this is a huge ordeal. Not only that, but it constantly fogs up. No amount of defogging spray helps either. After my sons complaint and his 11 year old cousins complaints I went ahead and tried to use it (I am very petite and it fit just fine) and sure enough it was absolutely impossible to use. I actually almost drowned (and I am a very avid and good swimmer) because of this mask because it droplet by droplet started filling up water and I couldn't touch and get it off and breath!

This mask is a hit with my 7 year old! After fitting it properly, which only took a minute, she was off swimming and exploring. It has the added benefit of acting a bit like a flotation device due to the air space inside it, so my daughter is so comfortable now swimming while wearing it! Using it has allowed her to swim better, as she HATES getting her face wet, which makes learning tough. (but she LOVES to swim) It does fog up on her a bit, but otherwise it fits so well and works so well that we didn't care! Wonderful product, wish I had known about them sooner!

Amazed my 5 year old could actual join us snorkeling. Practiced once in pool, then right into the ocean with no issues. Fogs up after some time, so recommend pre-cleaning inside with toothpaste and using an anti-fog spray or gel.

I pulled the item out of the box and it had clearly been used. Grains of sand lined the mask and there was wear on the snorkel, like it had been used a lot. The mask itself seemed fine but I paid for a new item... Amazon was wonderful about the return though.

Fits my 6 yr old great. I also tried it and it worked for me too. Her can spin under water and it still doesn't let water in. He loves it. He's become quite the little swimmer. He jumps in and has learned to swim to the bottom and isn't scared.
