I use this paper roll cutter with butcher paper for sublimation and it has all of the qualities I was looking for. It’s sturdy, feels like it will last years, holds small rolls as well as the 1000-foot rolls from Sam’s Club, and comes with non-slip feet for stabilizing on a work surface. I had previously ordered a more expensive cutter from a different brand and it left my butcher paper absolutely shredded along the edges. This cutter gives me nice clean tears every time.This cutter arrives assembled. All you have to do it open it up to lock into place and install the non-slip feet if you plan to use it on a counter or tabletop. If you plan to mount this on a wall, I would recommend taking into consideration what size roll you plan to use with this. If you’re using extra-large rolls, it will likely be too heavy to hang safely.Installing the paper roll onto the dowel and into the cutter is easy with a smaller roll. I first installed a 100-foot roll of butcher paper and was easily able to do it myself. However, when installing the 1000-foot roll, it was so much heavier that I did require a second person’s help. Just something to keep in mind if you plan to use this dispenser for extra-large rolls.The “cutting blade” on this dispenser isn’t actually sharp. It’s not serrated at all and initially I had some concerns that it wouldn’t be able to give me clean cuts. Fortunately, it’s super easy to use and gives really crisp tears. I’ve attached a photo of a torn edge. It’s superior in every way when compared to serrated edge cuts that can risk leaving an imprint on sublimation blanks. The one thing to note is that it isn’t the easiest to use with a single hand. It can be done, but it’s easier if you have a palm to stabilize the roll while tearing with the other hand.Overall, I would highly recommend this paper roll cutter to anyone looking for one, especially those that are looking for a butcher paper cutter for sublimation. It’s the best option that I have seen or used.

I use butcher paper in my heat press for sublimation. I was storing it upright to save space. I got tired of trying to cut off the big roll. I was afraid of getting this and it taking up too much space that I didn't have. I finally got it and I can't believe I waited so long. It works great. No more fighting to cut a piece off of a big heavy roll! If you use butcher paper for anything this is a must, get it.

The media could not be loaded. I have been using scissors to cut my butcher paper for sublimation for about a year and it is a little tedious. I have really wanted something like this and finally decided to invest in a paper roll holder/cutter. This one was reasonable priced so I went for it. The directions were very easy to follow and they had a way to either set it on a table or attach it to something. I chose table top. The little plastic pieces you attach to the bottom for the table top method where a con for me as I could not get them to stick in place and they just popped out no matter how hard I tried to get them in place. I attached a video of the paper cutting. It works ok but as you can tell you have to go slowly and meticulous with the paper so it cut smoothly. Once you get the rhythm it is fine I just had a little learning curve there to get the right feel. Not too fast or to slow and the right pressure. I store mine in my cabinet and I found that I can easily pull the paper right from there without having to pull it out and set it on a table. I find this very convenient since it really isn't too big. It's a nice size and so far is working very well.

This item was received in good working order. It arrived without damage from a professional packed parcel. Set up was so fast! The paper roll fit perfect. The sharp edge is serrated. The paper cuts easily and smoothly. The full roll keeps the dispenser in place. There are rubber feet at the bottom. I am impressed with the quality for the $31 price.

My friends and I process game animals (when successful) every year during hunting season. In years past, we used a straight edge. Usually one guy held the roll while another pulled and tore. Easy enough with enough dude and enough beer. I bought this dispenser just because... why not. It is a far far better way to go. It freed up a person to work a knife or the grinder -and- was easier on the person working the paper roll.Also, it folds up very nicely. Easy to store.
