my son is 19 and is currently in the hospital in a vegetative state due to a gunshot wound to the head. he has been in bed for 99 days today and while the hospital does provide wedge style pillows for positioning to avoid bedsores they arent of the best quality. ive spent a good deal of money in an attempt to avoid ulcers and i think this will definitely aid us in that attempt. thanks seller. satisfied customer.

I was in car accident leaving me with fractured spine and multiple rib fractures. I needed something I could use to elevate and sit up without making me bend. I wanted to sleep on it. Have to sleep in this brace and laying do down flat pushes it up into my neck and hurts more. So wanted this to be the answer and it is way to hard. I was on it for ten minutes trying to give it a chance but it hurt. Added pillows to it, still to hard. I am going to give it to someone else who isn’t hurt, for a Christmas present maybe. It is good for reading maybe? It is trash to me

I have acid reflux and hubby is a stomach sleeper so I needed a wedge option. This one looked like it had some versatility and since it's the first bed wedge I've purchased I figured it was worth a try. The arm divot area is pretty great honestly, because it works very well for side-sleeping but it may be in the wrong spot for me (maybe a little low so I'm not fully on the wedge when I'm positioned with my arm in the divot).The construction of the filler pillow, covers and wedge overall are good -- the foam of the wedge is a light-weight and soft foam. I don't use the filler pillow it comes with because it feels like a different density (harder) than the wedge foam so makes things uncomfortable/awkward. I tried using the filler pillow under my head but it's not thick enough to comfortably support my head. The wedge is easy enough to move around if I decide part-way through the night I need to use it (or put it away to sleep flat) and that's a plus. If the foam were more dense I think it would then be too heavy to easily maneuver during the night.Overall, it was a good purchase and I still use it a few times a week.

Bought this because I had a shoulder replacement a few years ago. I've been arranging pillows to support my torso and head and take pressure off the shoulder (I'm a side sleeper). This almost works, but I had to make a few alterations. Overall the foam is too stiff and the top head support is too high. I preferred to use a soft pillow so I cut a large chunk off the top so I could set my pillow in that cavity while retaining the 'canal' your arm/shoulder go in. It was OK, but the sharp incline then caused too much of an angle for my spine. Once I found a long (64"), softer foam pad I quit using this. Make this with softer foam, much longer to go down under your legs, with less incline and a 6" height at the top (no arm canal), then you can hang your shoulder off the top and use a pillow or two to support your head!

Purchased for my elderly mother and she was not able to find any way of sleeping comfortably using the wedge after trying it under her pillow and under her mattress. The box in which it arrived was damaged and could not be reused to return it. Therefore had to pay $16 dollars for UPS to box and ship it back. Really? Why isn't this covered as other Amazon returns are covered?

I needed this wedge for my reflux, it works great. It’s a stiffer material to keep you upright, I put a thin pillow on top of it to give extra softness.

Great purchase for me. I can’t lay flat due to gastric issues. It’s a little hard so I add a pillow on top for comfort.

Hard as a rock, the picture is actually size or that person is really short. The wedge only goes to middle of my back, and arm hole doesn't even line up so it's pointless.
