I bought this because I got tired of propping up my phone when facetiming my parents with my daughter. I was so pleased with it that I got them for my mom and sister as Christmas gifts. All of them still work great, are sturdy, and are easy to use.

--Update--After I posted the Original review, the seller contacted me and offered to send me a replacement. I accepted the offer and received the shipment right away. Their actions have been quite timely, and they have been very responsive to my emails. I think this product is worth a try, given how well the seller has been working with me.-- Original review --I was using this tripod for indoor use. I first noticed that one leg started to be a little sticky while being opened. It became progressively worse, and I had to wiggle gently in order to open it. This morning, it finally broke off. I kept it in a dust free area, so the connecting area is free of any substance. I am quite disappointed.

The media could not be loaded.  First, the quality: it's lightweight and super easy to use, and the tripod legs fold out quickly and easily. I fold them in to hold while videoing while walking, and thr hand grip makes that comfortable. The corner edges on the legs are sharp and actually cut my finger when I got in the way while folding in the legs, but I used a a glass nail file to take care of that easily by sanding down the sharp points (first photo). No more accidental cutting or pinching.The plastic is hard and I have to constantly tighten the knobs because they come loose and the phone wiggles (photo 2, video). I'd pay $10 more if they'd just hold tight.I use this daily. It holds my phone upright making it easier to access on my desk at work for music, on the counter in the kitchen to look up recipes or watch videos, and while hiking to take videos for family and friends. Its small and easy to transport everywhere. I communicate daily with friends and family on an app where we send each other videos instead of texts, and this tripod is perfect for that. I can talk to my friend while doing crafts as my phone sits in this tripod on a table, my bed, whatever. I definitely recommend it as long as you know the screws loosen up and need tightening daily.

I like the feel of this small tripod/cell phone grip - not sticky, not slick. It seems better made than a similar grip I found at a local discount store. It takes a little learning to figure out how it adjusts to different tasks, but it’s not gimmicky, more like clever.

Get yourself one of these if you create content.

Feels like it is going to break. Don't trust it with my phone.
