Using For A 65 Page Book of 24lb Weight Paper
I use 24lb paper because it's a sturdy weight of paper. It holds up better and feels like a better quality than the so called 'normal' 20lb paper. Plus, I buy my paper at Costco in the 800 sheet package for the same price as most stores sell the 20lb paper of 500 sheets which is a standard ream size. With that being said, I bought 1/2" Pro Click bindings to use on the 65 sheet books I'm making. That size is supposed to handle 85 sheets of 20lb. I thought they would be big enough to hold the 65 sheets of 24lb paper, but they aren't. It's hard to turn the pages and you risk tearing the paper. So I then bought the 5/8" Pro Click bindings which is supposed to hold 110 sheets of 20lb. This is the size that works great, looks great and allows for page turning, and opening up the book flat for my 65 pages of 24lb papers. It would allow for a few more sheets if needed.

Click together binding spines
Easy to use binding spines for binding your own manual. I like that they snap together and don’t come apart without the tool that comes with them. Was able to put a manual together in a matter of minutes.Another positive is being able to quickly open the spirals to add pages anywhere in the book without having to take everything apart.Worth the price.

Great Splines
I don’t know how long these 86 sheet splines will be available. I have probably a lifetime supply of 45-sheet splines. Now I’m set for life on both. I’ve been using them for annual reports and memoirs since 2013 .

Works great and easy to use
I read a review of this on a music teachers website and decided to give it a go. I am glad I did! I have so much loose music and it was really getting disorganized. Once I received the binder and the coils I put off doing it because i thought it would be complicated and take a lot of time. It was NOT! It is so easy. In 15 minutes i had about 100 pages punched and put together in two binders. I ordered the smaller coils that fit 45 pages. I am going to order the next size up. So pay attention to the size of the coil to fit your needs. I agree that it might be a bit expensive but if it holds up, i think it is a worthwhile investment. I ordered cardstock to make the front and back covers. And yes, the little zipper upper tool was included in the box of coils.

Made well
They're okay, they do the job. They took me a second to get used to clicking them together but they break in well. Only 1 broke out of everything that I got and it wasn't the whole spine it was just one piece when I was trying to secure it. It was a little challenging when I was putting in a lot of paper. I had to add then on each side and then try to adjust it so I could close it well. That part was a little tricky but not a crazy con. You just learn how to put it together we'll. Holds the paper in nicely and it's smooth when you turn the pages

Great for adding pages later
I am a private music teach and have a lot of students. I like the students to have their own music but I add more as the year goes on. I can add more pages on the spot. The first time I use a spine, I have to close it by hand but after that I can "zip" it closed. The students, who are kids, use it the whole year. Sometimes a few of the circles break but it holds up pretty well, especially from the way that it is handled by kids. I highly recommend this. The punch can get tiring after awhile but I put up with it.

Truly loving this product
As a homeschooling mom, I have used these and similar products for all kinds of books. It is so much more suited for my children and our family in general to have our notebooking pages bound in a spiral book format, but as the nearest copy shop is more than an hour and a half away (and I would probably get lost looking for it), that was just not an option. Last year we used three ring notebooks, but my kiddos are very hard on those, and one nearly broke her fingers getting them caught in the rings. This has been the most wonderful solution. We can add pages if need be like a 3-ring binder (although you may have to use a larger size binding), and they are fairly easy to open/close with out any pinching. Plus the books are soft if they should slip off the couch onto mom's foot (I speak from experience). All in all, I would say the hole punch machine and a selection of these bindings are one of the greatest purchases I have ever made.
