Saphir Teinture Francaise Leather Dye 50ml (Clear Base)

Great, easy to use product and fast delivery. My original tan shoes took two applications to get the dark brown (05) I wanted.Fun mini project and feels great to repurpose a $100 pair of shoes for a fraction of that with the dye and some minor prepping.Make sure to get an even application on each swabbing. Don't try to touch up missed spots with the dauber as the attempt will then make the area much darker compared to the surrounding area. Use a cloth instead to blend the dark to the lighter area.

I decolored my shoes with acetone because i didn't like the original color, and i painted with this tint. application was really easy and dried quickly. i would buy again i i have another work of this kind haha

Local shoe repair said don’t dye suede it will look horrible. Reviews of this product helped me decide to take a chance. Dyed a pair of suede boots and it went on easily, did a great job and didn't matt the suede. Only wish the bottle was slightly more volume for last minute touch up. Used every drop but left the tongue for last and glad I did. Ran out of dye but got all the parts that show saturated. Very happy with the end result.

The media could not be loaded. ATTENTION for buyers of Navy blue color!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wanted to refresh the color of my navy blue backpack purse ( what is a big deal? just to refresh a color}.1 bottle I bought earlier a #6 NAVY BLUE color (right color). The second bottle I received yesterday. WHAT WAS THE SURPRISE? -- The color is way off of navy blue. I expected a slight color difference (lighter or darker), but not such a big difference. Besides, the color of the paint has a shimmering brownish pigment when I removed the pigment the color became purple. I checked the color chart - I have no idea what color name I received. Confusion is when I touched the paint on the brush with my finger the color is navy blue with a purple shade. I don't know what type of chemical reaction is between my finger (skin) - backpack purse (skin) but the color is not the same. I wish the seller will read my review and will check their stock of navy blue. I reordered the paint on eBay and later on I saw It is the same seller, Unfortunately.

This would have been a good dye for Suede shoes if the amount is double. The good thing is that the color is not as concentrated as the other brands and the stiches will not turn dark. I bought one from a local shoe repair store, but one bottle is only good for 1 shoe, I thought it will cover a pair of shoes. So, I bought another one from Amazon. Same color (04 brown), but my shoes is now ruined because different batch produce different shade of color.

Used it on Birkenstock Oiled Leather Sandals with an outstanding result. From Tobacco to Havanna. Highly recommend it.
