FRAGRANCE SENSITIVITY, DOESN'T TRIGGER
I LOVE this product! I received it a few days ago and put it right to work.It does not trigger my FRAGRANCE SENSITIVITY so I definitely don't mind the scent at all. It actually smells like the conditioner and mask from the line that I have been enjoying for years.I wear my hair stretched and in twists or blow dried twist outs most of the time. So adding this product has really been a lovely addition to my routine. It seems a little watery at first, but I rub a small amount in my hands to EMULSIFY it and thicken it up a bit You don't really feel it's thickness and texture until it has dried into the hair. It acts like a moisturizer and sealant in one product.I look forward to trying on my wet hair in the future. I will keep you posted.

Moisture and shine
Very moisturising and makes loads of shine. I have to be heavy handed when using but it’s been a staple in my regimen for a long time.

Moisturize My Hair for One Day Only
I have wanted to try this product for years, since 2013. I never bought this product because I did not like that it smelled like medicine and herbs. I prefer citrus, fruit, no fragrance, or light dessert smells. I opened up a jar in a big chain store, and smelled it, and decided I would wait on trying this because product smell is very important to me. After using so many meh brands, I finally decided to try this product. I was sure that it would be moisturizing based on the ingredients, and the fact that the owner has 4C textured hair. The first day after washing and cleaning my hair, I used this. My hair was moisturized, but it was not anything special. I certainly did not have the results that I was expecting. Based on the ingredients, I expected this product to be super moisturizing. I did not receive that level of moisture, even though it was better than most brands I have tried by small businesses in the natural hair community. After the first day, I noticed my hair was not that moisturized, and by day 3, my hair was bone dry. I was very disappointed by this line. This brand is one of the older lines that has been around for a minute. Quite a few naturalistas with 4C hair have praised this product as being great for their hair texture. This resonated with me because a lot of brands are skewed towards African American women with bi-racial/mixed race textured hair, and those products don't always work well on 4C textured hair. I really wanted to support Obia Natural, but I cannot. Based on my experience with this product, I will not be trying any other products in this line. I did not like the way my hair responded to this product, and I did not like the smell. I had one day of my hair being moisturized. The 8 ounce jar is $16.99. This is way too much to pay for a product that did not deliver.

Very moisturizing but interesting scent...
So this product is very interesting. I bought it when I ordered it when I moved to an area with very few people of color and subsequently had NONE of my regular products. It works well as a moisturizer. However, it has an interesting deodorant-y herbal scent. My hair was very moisturized but also sort of smelled like a fresh armpit for a few hours til the scent wore off...I'd recommend letting your hair air out somehow before leaving unless you don't mind smelling like you're using a new herbal antiperspirant in your hair for awhile. Otherwise it's a good product!
