Originals Were Defective, Replacements Are 100% On Point
***UPDATED REVIEW***Pros:Solid ConstructionComfortable GripsEasy, One-Handed OperationCons:None to report. These clamps perform as expected. The first pair I received were indeed defective (first 3 pictures) but, I immediately returned them for a replacement pair, which arrived just 2 days later, and the replacements I'm happy to say, did not show the same defect (last 3 pictures). I'm very much looking forward to using these in my next project build (16 feet of garage cabinets), as these provide a far easier and faster clamping method than what I've been doing with standard F-clamps and blocks, trying to prevent panel/part shift while driving pocket hole fasteners. These pocket hole clamps make it possible to clamp pieces using one hand, while holding the pieces with your other hand. Not something you can easily do when using a free floating block with an F-clamp and, still trying to hold your project pieces together. Just in doing a few pre-project clamping tests, I can tell I only made my life harder, by not investing in a pair of these sooner. Honestly, with the significant cost savings of these, compared to the name brand (Kreg) version, don't hesitate. Get these clamps, save yourself some money and, a whole lot of time and frustration.***ORIGINAL REVIEW***Pros:Solid ConstructionComfortable GripsCons:Defective ManufacturingPoor/No Quality ControlI was looking forward to using these clamps in an upcoming project. Unfortunately, due to their defective manufacture and/or poor quality control, I had to return them. However, I did request replacements so, they've (Dragonite) got one more shot to prove themselves a quality product. This is a very simple mechanical device and there aren't very many things that really need to be spot on for it to work successfully. However, one of those things is parallelism of the clamping jaws, to ensure the clamping force applied doesn't pull/push the pieces out of alignment or, as in the case of the clamps I received, break one of the pieces being clamped. Of course, If one applied too much force, a break could occur as well. But, I've used this type of clamp before and that wasn't the case here. This is a simple, straightforward case of poor quality control in manufacturing. Hopefully, The replacement pair do not show these defects, suggesting this instance to be an aberration and not the standard. I'll update an amend my review If warranted, once the replacements are received.

Better than I thought
I thought the blue part of these clamps that grab onto the piece were going to be fiber infused plastic like the kreg ones (I think that they were), but these are thick anodized aluminum. At this price (3 for ~$40) these are a great deal

Heavy duty, But terrible packaging
These clamps are good. But, problem with packaging. They are not individually packed or even packaged at all. Both clamps shipped together in a thin open plastic bag, floating in the box. Two rotten/broken plastic zip ties in the bag! Lots of dents and scratches on plastic handles and metal parts. Maybe I got used/returned clamps or Amazon got these clamps bulk, in large containers, and then put two in a plastic bag and shipped them.

Still going strong
Much cheaper than the Kreg brands yet still holds up well on pocket holes.

Almost a good idea
I saw these and got excited. What a good idea.....almost. They don't open up enough so you have to unscrew them every time. Also the screw to flip them over gets in the way of being able to predrill the hole next to it or put in the other screw.
