Notch Classic Adjustable Athlete Operator Cap, Men's, Black/Red

The idea of this Notch hat really appealed to me so I decided to pull the trigger and give it a shot without really reading all the reviews here. When I first held it in my hands, I was pretty impressed until I tried it on. The center seam that goes down from the top is misaligned after it passes where the patch would go by a little. At first I didn't think it would bother me but the more I wore the cap, the more it stood out since it's highlighted by the red stitching. I chalk that up to quality control but hey, yours might be just fine. The Velcro on the adjustable strap was peeling off a little too but a little stitching from myself fixed it.Now as for the Notch, unfortunately it doesn't work with any of my sunglasses. I know they're meant for wrap around like shooting glasses but I bought this in hopes that my Oakley Holbrook, Whisker and Maui Jim would work.The 3 stars aren't because my sunglasses didn't fit with the Notch but for quality control issues. I still like this idea and hat itself that I might pick up another. Who knows, I might purchase a new pair of wrap around like sunglasses in the future and it'll fit.

Great gear! I work as a firefighter a and fire instructor. I was looking for a neutral hat without a brand logo displayed as the focal point. This hat is rugged and comfortable. It often gets thrown in the back of the engine when we respond to an incident requiring use of a helmet. The brim always retains the desired shape even with tools and equipment thrown on top of it.I vactioned with my family on the beach in Punta Cana and I packed this hat. The Notch cap shaded my eyes and also when needed, interfaced with all of my sunglasses. The material kept my head cool and dried quickly when wet.I recomend this hat for anyone that works or adventures outdoors.

It has a velcro closure in the back which is working for me but if my head was much bigger I dont think there would be enough strap to close. But I do have a big head. That said. I really like the material and the notches do work with my bigger framed sunglasses like the Oakley Fuel Cells.

I have four of these hats, they are superb. All of mine are versions of their operator style. The replacement of the usual button on the top with the Velcro tab is fantastic. I also love being able to easily switch out my patches or just go without. Great product!

Good hat, but a bit large. I would love to see this hat (with same material) in a fitted version. Great hat, just not what I was hoping for.

Hat feels like a juvenile hat. Great quality and idea but feels too small

Wow I just discovered this Notch hats and they are awesome. For the first time I can use my sunglasses with my cap and feel so comfortable. The quality is also excellent and of course look so good. I would recommend it, and I also get a lot of compliments from girls, so what can I say. Buy one and start enjoying this technology.

It is a good quality, comfortable hat but the notches only fit the wrap around style sunglasses and I am not cool enough to wear that style.
