Excellent
I have owned several Cod Steel knives. They are in my belief the best commerical knive on the market. This is no exception.. thin, light, good locking style, great blade steel. Very pleased

Outstanding knife👍🏻👍🏻
Great build, great size, great grippy scales and great blade. I own...probably 1,000 knives; some costing a couple thousand dollars. I love this knife. It's simple and thin and light. If you like the CS Broken Skull, then you'll love the Range Boss.

Works great
Definitely, the quality that you would expect from cold steel.

Almost a handful!
Easy to open, even left handed.Pocket clip is too stiff and scales are too rough ( some might say grippy) to actually clip to the pocket.Due to the curving nature of the pocket clip, it is not reversible, aka, ambidextrous and no lefty pocket clip was provided.Still, I love it!

Form and Function
I like the clip point and handle/scales shape! Now in 4116 steel, previously 4034 SS. I missed out on buying the broken skull series but really liked the looks of it, handle shape and clip point - narrow, slim/long. Modded the clip to bend up more for easier pocket clipping, sanded and then darkened it and the screws with my camp stove. Sanded the part of the scale where the pocket clip contacts it for easier / faster draw. Takes a few days to break it in a bit. Just be careful when closing if you’re use to using your index finger to stop the ricasso - keep it closer to the end of the choil - I’ve got some nicks/cuts from the blade sharpening choil. Whatever, they heal. Cool looking and functional knife, simple.

Choose this knife or your pants
Cold Steel's clip is already renowned for tearing up pockets, so this knife's overly textured handles are going to rip your pants even faster. There is wear on my back pocket from pulling it out twice. You could get another clip, but you could also get a different knife for less money and hassle. CJRB has smaller knives at a similar price, Buck has a few clip point folders at a similar price, the Civivi Ortis has better steel ans similar shape for a similar price, and the Cara Cara 2 is a bigger knife with better steel at a similar price.Unless you need the Tri-ad Lock, you don't need this knife. Even then, there's better Cold Steel knives.
