HyperDrive 6-in-1 USB-C Hub for iMac 24″

All the ports are gen 2, 10gbps as advertised.Read/write speed from card reader is 94/78 mbps on samsung evo plus 128gb u3 card. Does not support simultaneous R/W of two cards. Only one slot can be used at a time.HDMI port is working as expected. Type C port doesn't support display.It's based on VL822 chipset and genesys logic card reader.For windows users:I tested it on Surface Laptop Studio which has Thunderbolt 4/ USB 4 ports. Thunderbolt port can provide 15w of power to bus powered devices. That means 3A at 5V. Card reader uses 900mA and hdmi port uses 100mA. So you are left with 2A which can easily power 2 hdd's or 2 ssd's, simultaneously (Tested, Works flawlessly) and some low power device. When three hdd's or ssd's are connected and used simultaneously, they start disconnecting.USB 3 / USB 4 can provide only 4.5w/7.5w power respectively while thunderbolt 15w.So this is just usb 3 gen 2 hub but suitable only for thunderbolt ports considering power requirements, as it is bus powered.

This is absolutely beautiful product and good quality… nice features as well as transfer speed … u can’t complain about anything on this …

Well made and looks premium. Six in one are enough ports for USB and USB-C. Has an HMDI in the back. Easy to install and fits well on the monitor without scratching it. Definitely recommended though a bit on the expensive side.Amazon continues to provide these quality products which is a big plus and hope they introduce more and more.

The media could not be loaded.  Matches perfectly. Works great! To install use a butter knife to slide in the gap and slide the face out. Make sure the knob on back is unscrewed. Once you put it on use the knob to tighten in place.

Color is exact and matches the new M1 Macs perfectly. I’ve had it for almost a year now, no issues. Note: there’s a little screw on the back to adjust and fit to the screen

Positives:- All ports work. All 5 ports can be used for data transfer, and the far right USB one can be used as a charging port. No issues with any ports being too tight or any dead ports.- Having ports on the front is more convenient than having to reach towards the back of the iMac.- Comes with stickers to match the unit to your iMac. Out of the box the USB hub comes with a completely white face and a pack of stickers that can be used to match the new iMac model colors. It's not a perfect match, but it's a good enough match (see images). Be careful when putting on the stickers! It is made out of a soft plastic material that scratches/dents easily. I tried smoothing a corner with a credit card and it left scratches on the material that will not come out. Use your finger pads or softer materials only.Negatives:- If you look at the iMac from any side angle and not completely straight you can clearly see the bulky back.- There is a blue indicator light that indicates the unit is plugged in that cannot be turned off. If you have your iMac in your bedroom and prefer to sleep in complete darkness, it can be irritating.- The charging port's charging speed is quite slow. I haven't objectively tested it to the specs given, but compared to charging using a USB-C to USB-C directly connected to an iMac port, it is noticeably slower.
