My first 1:72 scale and first Airfix. The quality of the kit made the small scale doable.

Airfix has made a few Stukas in their time. This time they knocked it out of the park with this exceptionally beautiful, well detailed & incredible fitting model kit. For the longest time I thought Airfix was going to fold as so many other old-school model manufacturers have. However Hornby's acquisition of the company was it's saving grace. Ever since then their new tool models have been exceptional, beautiful products, that any model building hobbyist would find to be an absolute pleasure to build.

I know I’m fairly new at this, but I had to put in A LOT of time sanding to get parts to fit. And after all the work things didn’t come together well. So now this build has been relegated to my tester for other builds. Oh well.

The detail is good as 1/72 scale, and I love its decal, the shark head is cool

I bought this for my girlfriend’s birthday and she loved it! it’s good quality and she had a lot of fun with it. She loves models and Airfix is one of her favorite brands (:
