Goody Shampoo Brush, Meet Your Brother
Many years ago, I forget exactly when, I purchased a Goody Shampoo Brush. I used it for years until it finally became unfit for use. I went to the local supermarket and purchased another. This scenario played out an unknown number of times until, about 8 years ago, I couldn't find the Goody product or anything resembling it. I went online and found brushes that looked like the Goody product but fell way short.Recently, I checked once again for the Goody brush, without success, but found the OceanPure Scalp Shampoo Massage Brush. If you liked the Goody product and longed for the feel and usefulness you loved, you're in luck. The OceanPure product is an excellent facsimile. Like the Goody version the entire brush was fused together unlike some which are snapped together. The feel in your hand is perfect and you get an actual massage feel (others are hard and scratchy).I'm here to order another set of the brushes in order to stockpile a supply. You never know, OceanPure might decide to stop selling the brushes too.

Pleasantly surprised
I had never even heard of such a thing as a shampoo brush, but it stumbled across my news feed and I decided to take a chance on it. I have short, thin, fine hair that I would lose by the handful when I showered. I honestly wondered how I had any hair left on my head! I made the switch a few months ago to a shampoo bar, which helped, so I thought this shampoo brush could help, too.I get more lather worked up with my hands than I do with this brush, but lather does not equal clean, so I don't mind less lather. I rub my shampoo bar over my head from front to back, then follow with the shampoo brush from front to back. I'll move it in small circles as I go and then follow with just a straight front to back brushing. The finger slots hold the brush to my hand without me having to grip it tightly, and my hand fits around the brush nicely. I do have smaller hands, so someone with larger hands might find this too small. I'm not sure how someone with lots of thick, curly hair might feel about this brush, but as its main use is to clean the scalp, they could probably use their hands to work shampoo down through the ends of their hair.I was surprised after using this for the first time that my hair felt softer. I don't know why that would be. Perhaps because it didn't tangle as badly, or I didn't lose as much of it. I'm not sure, but overall I'm very pleased with this purchase and will be using these for a long time. I've never used any other brand, so I have nothing else to compare them to, but they work for me!

I have both; soft is best. GREAT customer service!
I have the hard and the soft. Both are great products, well made, and do what they're designed to do. The hard was too hard for MY scalp, hence I'd give it three stars; that's not to say it wouldn't be good for someone else. The hard would be best for thick hair, allowing the "bristles" to get through the thick hair and reach the scalp. I have the SOFT, and it is heavenly; I rate the SOFT as 5 star. Had one as a child, and this brought joy to washing my hair. Weird, I know, but the massaging of my scalp with these little "fingers", invigorating the blood supply to my scalp..it was like none other! I had to "split the difference" of 3 star for hard, and 5 star for soft--4 stars averaging the two. Customer service is also incredibly fast and top notch! (5 star for that). All the way around, an A+ experience!

I keep one in every bathroom.
Usually when I step out of the shower I can run my fingers through my hair and there will be oil and dead skin under my nails. Sorry for the image, but it's relevant. It's not like I don't scrub either. I do that whole rinse, lather, repeat and massage in circles thing. Maybe I'm just naturally gross? To combat my perpetual disgust I thought I'd try these shampoo brushes.I'm a convert. My head has never been so clean in my life. It can feel a little rough, but there's no more buildup and my hair can go longer without a wash. A fun side effect I've noticed is my hair is also growing faster. Definitely not complaining. The only negative I have to say is that this version might not be great for curly or textured hair. The bristles are close together and they're hard plastic, so there isn't any give. I don't think this would work for me if I was still rocking my middle school perm. But if you have straight, generally manageable hair like myself, these are the greatest thing.

A must for a healthy scalp
These are the closest to the Goody brand that I have found. That said, they are not quite as strong and probably won't last as long. They are much stronger than other brands I have found. I have used these for about 35 years through very long hair to short. A little common sense is required when using a "scrubber" on long hair, but is very do-able. I haven't suffered dandruff or flaky scalp since using them. I was my hair about every 4-5 days and these work great!

Love these
Like others, I had always used "Goodie" Shampoo Massage Brushes, but unfortunately they discontinued them. I've tried other brands only to fine they were nothing like the "Goodie" brushes. I tried these and these are exactly like the "Goodie" brushes. STOCK UP!

Ahh.....head massages!
Price was great, and love the colorful selection. The plastic is a little flimsier than the plastic brushes I've had before--we'll have to see if the teeth fall out quickly or not. So far, they have been fine.

Feels great.
Love these for washing my hair. Feels good and my hair is awesomely clean! For long hair you definitely do not want to make circular motions with it. Use it like a brush.Though I can't say for absolute sure, but it does seem like my hair is growing a bit faster than normal since I've been using them.
