Great Product, Easy Beetles Tipex Removal
I have the Beetles Tipex and the glue that is included to apply them has a SUPER grip!! I had to pry them off piece by piece with my cuticle nippers! So I started doing some TikTok research and found out that other users of the Tipex system were using Peel Off Base Coat and the removal oil to make for a smoother removal process. I looked into the reviews of a few different brands of peel off and settled on Makartt and Im SO glad I did! I used the Ohora peel off remover oil and the nails came off so smooth and easy!!! this will be a staple in my collection!! Cant attest for the retention quite yet because I've only had my current set on for about 5 days. If retention is less than a week and a half I'll come back and update this review.

So cheap and so worth it. Would get 10 of them if I can.
Best decision ever. Great for a beginner (me lol). Not glue based so it has a clear color. Smells just like a gel top coat and gel colors stick great to it. No need to buff the nail, all you have to do is an alcohol/acetone wipe to wipe oil on the nails! It does not come off in one piece tho. So far I do have to peel off in pieces but it’s not too bad at all and has not damaged my nails. Takes about 10 mins for me to take off both hands compared to the hour it takes for me to drill and soak one hand. Just make sure to not make it too thin of a coat cause then it will not work, make it too thick and it will come off easy. My nails have lasted almost 2 weeks but that’s just because I peeled it myself! It did not lift or chip. You want a great, cheap peel off for gel, regular, or glitter? I would def recommend this one!

More pros than cons
I waited to do this review until I had done numerous gel manicures with the peel off base. I maintain a hard gel overlay on my natural nails - I never soak or file the overlay completely off, and I use gloves when I'm cleaning or doing dishes, to minimize water exposure. I wanted this peel off base to wear as a barrier between my overlay and my gel polish color, so that I wouldn't need to e-file the polish off. I would say it isn't perfect, hence 4 stars; but being able to scrape off my polish, without having to file off some of my overlay, is a plus. While removal isn't easy at all, that's also good, because it doesn't peel the polish off until I want the polish off. I use a tiny eyeglass screwdriver, begin at the cuticle, and gently scrape the polish; once I get a small purchase under the polish, I use cuticle oil to aid in scraping. ALWAYS SCRAPE TOWARD THE FREE EDGE, NEVER TOWARD THE CUTICLE. You don't want to hurt yourself if the scraper slips.Overall, I will continue using the peel off base between my gel overlay and my gel polish because it helps maintain the overlay without having to file off some of the overlay to get the polish off.

I am obsessed.
Auroral nails every time. I’ve even gotten a set to last 16 days without chipping. When I want to remove it, I use some acetone mixed with oil and let it soak for like 5 minutes. Then I peel it off with the orange stick. Very minimal nail bed peel. Be careful when peeling it off.I can do all of my favorite builder and gel colors and it looks just like the salon. I save so much time because I don’t have to e-file anything. I’ve recommended this to so many friends who like to do their own gels.

Chemical Allergic Reaction
This product should come with a warning label. I used this product one time the first day I received it. By nightfall my fingers were itching and felt like I was having a bad allergic reaction to the chemicals in this product. If you have allergies this product is not for you. Big pass on this one guys.

Definitely peels off but leaves nails damaged
I used this as a basecoat and then did a regular gel manicure. I didn't bother to scuff my nails before using the basecoat because I wanted to give it the best chance of peeling off easily. Today, after my everything shower (which meant my nails were wet for at least 15 minutes), 9 days after doing my manicure, they were starting to lift a little which I figured was my signal that they were ready to peel off, so I removed them using an orangewood stick. They peeled off for sure, and pretty easily since my nails had essentially been soaking in water for 15 minutes, but they took some of the nail along with them and left my nails very rough.I would happily trade a few less days of the base coat hanging in there for less damage to my nails.I'm not sure if I would buy this again or not.

Won't do my nails without the peel off base
I've been doing my nails from home for over two years now. I used to soak them off and I hated the way acetone would just eat up my nails. Once I started using this peel off base I won't do a set without it. I can go most of my nails about 2 weeks without having to worry about losing a nail. If I do lose a nail it's usually a thumb or my pointer finger obviously the fingers that get used the most and every once in a while I will see lifting within a week. But that's fine I like to change my sets often and I can keep them on for quite some time and if I lose one now I can easily just redo that nail instead of having to do the whole set over again and that's okay with me. My natural nails underneath are strong and healthy and I am beyond pleased with this product. I rather use this than soak or use a nail drill to remove. When I'm ready I just use a good cuticle oil and soak up the cuticle section and I use a pointy, very thin metal nail file and lift up the sides and if needed add some more cuticle oil to help loosen. they pop off in one piece. I only use one coat of the peel off base.
