So ergonomically designed
One of the worst parts of quilting, is cutting all the fabric. Depending on the design, you can be cutting 200-300 pieces for it. Normal rotary cutters are not designed with the people with arthritis, carpel tunnel, or other maladies of the hands and fingers. This design works so well that all the pressure is taken off the wrist and hands and fingers. It is light weight with a size that fits nicely in the palm of your hand. Made of a nice durable plastics. I expect it to last many years.

Slightly disappointed
The idea of this is great. It does have some pros: easy on the wrist, easy to hang onto, fits onto the rulers it was made for. It’s sharp and quick. The cons for me personally: the slide to open and close the blade protector is awkward. Pushing the slider down is one thing, but pulling it back up is not a one handed thing, at least for me. Makes me leave it open between cuts more than I would like - I don’t want to cut myself or have my cats touch it, if they jump up. There is something about cats and quilts… At any rate, if you’re considering it, try it, it might be just what the doctor ordered for you. Just personally disappointed.

Best one, since the invention of rotary cutters
I absolutely love this. It’s actually my second I misplaced my first. The first one I got on a deal from Grace for the cost of shipping and I waited a good while before I caved afraid it would be the same ole same, I couldn’t afford the rulers with it at the time so I’ve used it with just my quilting rulers and it’s awesome, it’s so much more comfortable on my hands and wrist (I have carpel tunnel and tennis elbow) I’d been using it for about two years and I misplaced it so I wanted to cry;) I was going to order from Grace co. again but need it right away so I ordered it from Amazon and even though I paid a bit more it’s still well worth the money it’s a great value in my opinion. I found the ruler on here for about $20 less and really thought about buying one but the more I thought about it actually started watching the way I cut. I realized I hold the cutter at an angle it’s more comfortable on my hand. If I used the cutter and the ruler with the lip, I would have to use it straight up and down for it catch and hold and that would really do more harm to my carpel tunnel and tennis elbow, even if it’s an ergonomic. so while I give ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ for the rotary cutter just thought I’d pass on food for thought to anyone thinking of also buying the cutter. Give serious consideration to the way you actually hold the cutter before also buying the rulers it may save you some money. But definitely get the rotary cutter it’s great for you and would make a great gift for the sewists and quilters in your life.

Best rotary trimmer I've found!
I was afraid it would feel awkward compared to other rotary trimmers, but it's SO well designed, it's like an extension of my hand. I don't experience fatigue after using it several hours because the grip is so comfortable. I also had a BAD history of slicing myself with other rotary blades, but that would be tough to do with this one. Safe to use due to retractable blade & blade replacement is vert easy and unique to this model.

Great for arthritic hands
I love the design..it offloads stress on hand and wrist, and it fits in the track of the ruler so you cut good straight lines with a lot less pressure on your hand. A must if you are making one quilt or 100!
