Juvale Sewing Basket Organizer with Needles and Kit (13 x 9 x 6 in, 30 Pieces)

It's a sewing basket - I'll have to list the cons with the pros because . . well . . you'll see why. - It's cute-ish, nice shape. BUT the embroidered scene on top doesn't at all match or enhance the tiny rosebud print on the side - call me picky, but it seems it would be ridiculously easy to do better.)- The one I received was intact, and undamaged (that's saying a lot, these days, for Amazon - it seems that about 10% of what I'm ordering is arriving damaged, or 'not as pictured'. I'm getting weary of this, but they do provide a nice set of 'return lockers' in the mall in our town, which happens to be only about 2 miles away, so I'm fortunate).The manufacturer took a few shortcuts, and obviously didn't consult a real seamstress. I've been sewing for over 50 years, and although I'm no professional, I do know a few things.The clear plastic tray on the large box is a joke. Look at it carefully - the 'dividers' are quite shallow and rounded over, so things are not going to stay divided - the slightest jostle is going to mix them all up. My mother used to have one, that you could accidentally tip over, and the divider tray fit up against the padded inside lid well enough that the contents didn't get mixed up. - The seller did add that little extra touch - the plastic portable box. But It seems cheap, and its divider doesn't fit well. It comes with some very CHEAP plastic scissors and other supplies, a round gold ring that I THINK is supposed to be a thimble of sorts, and an assortment of very cheap, fuzzing, unusable thread. All of these supplies are so cheap, that they're only useful as 'suggestions' for what you should put it. I've already replaced everything, except perhaps the seam ripper and that strange thimble.I admit I was fooled and attracted by the idea of that little box I could keep nearby while watching TV. But after having to replace everything in it, I'm left with a very cheap plastic box - I could have used any number of pretty tin boxes around the house *banging head on keyboard now*.Seriously, my time is valuable enough that I can't afford to waste time repairing buttons and hems with cheap fuzzy thread and needles that will only frustrate me. I'd rather they knock a few dollars off the price and leave out the 'supplies'. They were a disappointment.I was looking, and still am looking, honestly, for a sewing basket that will make me smile inside when I pick it up. Hand-sewing isn't fun, to me, and I like for my supplies to be as attractive as possible.I'm keeping it for now, but I think I'm going to have to make my own.

I love the way this sewing basket looks it's so cute and it's a perfect size for all my threads and sewing supplies.

So cute. Bigger than I expected, but I'm sure I'll grow into it if I start sewing more. I'm a brand new sewer and had barely graduated from the portable sewing kits. I just needed something a bit bigger. This is good for all of your accessories, and maybe a few small pieces of fabric. It doesn't look incredibly well-made, but again, I don't see that often, so it should be fine for me.

My five-year-old daughter received this for Christmas, and instantly declared it her favorite gift. It has ample room for fabrics and projects, and it comes with a good starter variety of needles, threads, and sewing tools (seam ripper, thimble, measuring tape, and safety pins). The design on the top of the basket is embroidered, and looks as though it will last in quality for quite some time. All of the hinges and fastening mechanisms (magnet in the front) are easy for my daughter to use and they appear to be sturdy.

This is a great sewing box. Its bigger than I expected. Really cute. The packaging I was not to pleased with. It came in a flimsy white box wrapped in the smaller bubble wrap. It could have been easily damaged. I give packing a zero. However I give the actual product a 10.

E' stato regalato per un compleanno e devo dire che ha fatto una bella figura.Gli accessori all'interno non è che siano di massima qualità, ma me lo aspettavo.Però per il resto è un bel cestino che fa il suo dovere e non stona in nessuna casa.
