Q: Anybody have luck keeping raccoons out w this product?

They don't keep anything off my railings. I watched a squirrel walk/hop across them as if they weren't there. Birds sit on them too. It does slow down raccoons but it doesn't stop them. Don't waste your money on them.

Q: Can I use these bird spikes anywhere to keep critters away?

Yes, I installed it on the wall in the backyard of my house and it seems to be very useful, so I also bought their another colors, total 2 colors, which is great!

Q: Is this spikes strong?

The spikes are strong but if it's for cats they just walk right on them. Didn't work for me at all.

Q: How many are in the box?

There are 22 12" segments in the box. Each segment is 2" wide and 1.5" high. We used double sided tape to secure them for our application and they are very secure.
