The product is as described. Does a good job but I wish that it would squish them thinner.

I rated 3 because it works. After one wash it left with lot of rust. As you can see from picture. I did spray some oil while making tortilla. But I was not expecting that much of rust after one use. Anyway, its going back to supplier. Reasonable price ($35), still I don't want to use low quality and defective product.Vendor, please improve quality and handle design. Handle screw is coming off after few use...Thanks, but NO Thanks...

Sturdy and easy to use BUT it appears that this was used by someone else. There is a black, greasy film on the cast iron that I cannot seem to get cleaned off.

Excellent product

I received this as a gift and used it for the first time. I've never used a press before, so maybe it's supposed to do this, but the handle doesn't rotate down much, by design. This caused my tortillas to come out thin on one side and thicker on the other. I had to rotate them in the press to try to even them out. It also doesn't allow them to get very thin overall.The press is heavy, seems well- built and the silicone disks are very useful. The tortillas would have definitely stuck to the plates otherwise.
