Q: How far from the paired device can you go before losing Bluetooth connection?

@SteveTX way to look like a dummy. This question is for the EasySMX 2.4G WIRELESS Controller... If you think it's for a different version of the controller you probably just don't understand how Amazon review pages work (they tend to clump similar products together so you have to PAY ATTENTION to exactly what the question/review is for). That said, this question is clearly listed for the Wireless version, as the product is right next to the question once you click on the question. OP: This is NOT bluetooth, it is just "regular" 2.4Ghz wireless (which is why it needs its own usb dongle and won't work with a universal bluetooth one). I believe they said in the description the range is up to 10M (so ~30ft max).

Q: Do I have to download something for it to work on steam games or will it just work if I plug it in?

I am using Windows 10 and it was discovered and installed as an XBox 360 controller and is seen as an XBox 360 controller by Steam games. I did not have to install anything and it all works perfectly.

Q: Can it play steam games (specifically nier automata) without problems like slow response?

I don't play that specific game but I play loads of other games on Steam without any issues with response. It is very sensitive.

Q: Will this work for old Atari or Nintendo, etc. games being played on pc, windows 10?

For emulated games it would depend on the emulator. Most of them have options to configure a controller. For regular games just use the included drivers and it works just fine for Windows games.
