Q: Is there padding for a laptop?

It’s pretty thin. But if you had a sleeve for the laptop it’d be okay.

Q: Would this bag fit a 2 inch binder, 1 notebook (single subject), and 3 comp. Books? Where would i put my pens and pencils?

I purchased this bag with the intention of carrying my laptop. I have two laptops, one is 17 inches and it certainly will not fit. My second computer is 15 inches and that does not fit either. The bag is 12 inches across and as long as your binder, notebook and comp books are less than 12 inches they should fit. The bag has nice inside compartments for pens, flash drives, etc. I carry everything I need daily but still have to rely on my laptop carrying case for that. Based on what you are searching for I think this might be too small for your needs. Hope this helps.
