NovoTwist needles are excellent. Especially if you have a NovoLog Pen
The NovoTwist Needles can be used to fit most 32 gauge pens but are especially designed for the NovoLog Pen. Simply press, twist and it is locked on. Removal is just as easy. They do cost a little more but it is worth it. My insurance company would not pay for them but instead supplied BD Nano 32 gauge needles which were about $9 cheaper per box. Though technically the same size, these needles are not easy on, easy off. Rather, I struggled to attach them often with it ending up at an odd angle and difficult to depress the plunger. Several times, the needle actually bent and would not work and I had to throw away and start over. Removing them was not easy either. After several stick injuries attempting to remove them, I resorted to using pliers. The paperwork that comes with my pens recommended the NovoTwist needles, so I ordered a box here. Made everything so easy! I spoke with my pharmacist and she checked and confirmed again that my insurance would not cover but she checked several discount cards they used and I was able to find them for about $30 less than here. PROS to buying here: No RX required, Convenience. CONS to buying here: Price, Not always in stock. But if you do have an RX for needles and are experiencing similar problems especially if you have a NovoLog pen, discuss with your doctor or pharmacist.

Well worth the extra cost
Needles are no fun. So, finding a product that delivers medication with minimal pain is a good thing.I love the bayonet attachment to NovaLog or Tresiba. But, they will not work with other brands requiring a full screw-on needle.

Very painful to use!
These are definitely not gentle! They're like pricking yourself with a razor blade. My sister used one of these and her finger hurt for 3 days! I wouldn't recommend these to anyone.

I use these for my Type 2 diabetes - perfect - super fine needle and correct short distance for sub-cutaneous injection without getting too deep. Anyone who is getting "hurt" with these is doing something wrong, or does not understand that insulin injections hurt - because the insulin itself hurts when being injected.
