I bought it for a New Year's Eve party, and I set it next to my bluetooth speaker and projected it onto the ceiling of my living room. It was awesome. There are so many options with colors and modes, and this little unit puts out an incredible amount of light. I also discovered I will be able to use this light in some of my small drama productions, because it creates an incredible water effect. It well exceeds what I would have expected for the price. (The attached video is combined with the Lightahead LA 005 LED rotating strobe bulb - the Coidea light is the fiery looking effect on the right.)

Just like Christmas, I had our karaoke machine dancing and singing. This light is great to have because it make us feel like we are at an actual dance.The disco light has multiple settings. The colors include blue, green, red, purple, and yellow. The light has motion, as well. You can set it to move at three different speeds or entirely stop the motion.The stand that comes with the light works well. It does not easily move with motion around it. In the pictures, you can see how it looks and works.Overall, the device is worth the price. It works well. The one downside about it is the IR reader is on the front, so when you use the remote, you must it towards the front.

Disclaimer: I was given this product at a discount for my honest and unbiased review.I've had this disco light for about two days now and I've really enjoyed it. The all-metal construction is very durable and it should last a good long time. The light has functions for color cycle, strobe, and sync with music, which is a personal favorite since my other lights don't have that function. The effects are very pleasant and the light itself projects very nicely on whatever surface it was aimed at. The included remote is a nice touch, though you have to be about 3 feet from it for it to work well. I also noticed some weird things happening when I tried using the remote near my other room lights. Since they are also remote-controlled, the remote caused some weird lighting effects to occur that don't normally happen with its corresponding remote. Not a huge deal, just make sure you are not using several types of lights with remotes at the same time. The light also has buttons on the rear for manual control. The buttons take priority when turning the light on. So if you have the light buttons set to music mode and the remote to strobe mode, the light will automatically go to music mode since the buttons go first. The buttons themselves are quite flimsy and I thought it was broken at one point. I overlook this problem, however, since I use the remote when the light is mounted where I want. The included stand is pretty garbage as well. Again I have mine mounted so this isn't a deal breaker for me. Just consider that before buying. Overall, a very good light that will be very nice for ambiance at dinner parties, or just decoration in general.

I gotta be honest - I didn't expect much of a lighting system this cheap. I bought it for a Halloween party and only purchased one. It pulses well with the music, can be set for manual colors, has a lot of nice features. With the fog machine it worked awesome! It actually worked so well that I ordered 3 more for the party. I have a 525 sq foot garage and it throws light nice, but in a standard 10' ceiling you can't get the dispersal size you'd want in a room, so I had to have more to get the effect I wanted. But overall, just buy a couple. You'll be pleased with them.

This is an amazing little disco light. It's super compact and barely takes up any space. The color sequences are really gorgeous, they stand out best on a white backdrop. Personally, the stand didn't work too well for me, but you can prop it up on it's own regardless. If you are using the "music" feature, the mic is very short range. You will get the best results if the sound is directly next to the disco light. Same goes for the remote, it needs to be directly in front of the sensor for it to work.

This little gadget was awesome ! i got it for my 15 year old daughter and she loved it from day one !it displays wave-like lights in multiple colors with a remote control that allows you to switch colors andset the device to react to music ! small, compact and easy to use, just plug and play, and carry it to any location !i would recommend this for anyone and all ages, but teenage girls go bananas for it !harry

Bought as a gift for my daughter & she loved it. I loved it too when I tested it out....kind of wanted to keep this for myself!! The only thing I could find slightly annoying is the "motor" noise...unless you have a television going or music it is quite audible. The packaging is also very generic making the product have a very cheap appearance & feel. So far so good, I will update if this stops working soon.

This light unit is great for small gatherings. It is easy to use and install. The remote control is easy to use. The unit is not powerful enough for larger gatherings as the lights diminish in detail. Also, I have been using the unit for 2 years. After that, the motor stsrted to dysfunction and stopped rotating all together.
