Good inexpensive stuff.
I did a drain and fill on my 2010 Subaru Outback cvt. I was worried about using this stuff because there was little feedback for people filling Subaru CVT's with this product. Valvoline is over $10/ qt. I need about 6-7 quarts and it would have been very expensive to change my fluid. Everyone online recommended the overpriced oem stuff (usually expensive repackaging of cheaper stuff). This Castrol stuff worked fantastic even mixed with tye old stuff. My car drives very smooth and no odd behavior or sounds from the CVT. It's a good product at a fraction of the cost of other brands.

85 LeBaron
Got an 85 LeBaron a year ago that was having some awful shifting issues. Drained the old fluid, new pan filter and this fluid and I was back in business. Shifts great and has held up 6+ months later. Great price!

Great stuff
I have owned my 2015 Honda accord for 5 years. I have done everything from replacing a head gasket, clutches, belts, water pumps etc. I used to use Honda fluid. Never again, I did 2 flushes within a week and my car doesn’t feel like it has a transmission. It’s a 1/3 of the price and works just as good if not better. Castrol is a great brand and by principle can make a better transmission fluid then Honda. Why? Honda outsources their fluid. They don’t make it so all we know, they’re getting it from catsrol. If you look on the back of Honda hfc 2 transmission fluid bottle from Honda. It doesn’t say they make it, which means it is outsourced. Castrol specializes in fluids, Honda doesn’t. Stop buying Honda fluids that are wayyyyyyyyy over priced.

CVTs need frequent fluid replacements.
Want to make your Nissan CVT last or any cvt? Change the entire system capacity with this and do a fluid change (2.5Qts) every 30k miles. Got 180k on the factory unit and no slip, no shudder or rubber banding. Runs like new still and excellent mpg. Much quieter, smoother too.

Works fine in a 2008 Nissan Sentra
Took care of the CVT whine on used car I bought. Going strong for two years and one drain/fill each year.

Castrol to the Rescue.
After changing the CVT fluid to this Castrol product, the shifts seem to be smoother and making the vehicle seem like new. But I don't have 40,000 miles on this oil yet either. Time will tell. This oil is 1/4 the cost of the vehicle manufacturer's oil, and since I changed it myself, I saved a lot over having the dealer do the job.

Buy this, save your money, and take care of your CVT
Those of us with a CVT who want to avoid the very costly overhaul or replacement of our transmissions, should replace the fluid at regular intervals. Unfortunately, the stealerships and other service centers will take you to the cleaners for doing this very easy job. And even when we want to do it ourselves, the cost of the fluid can make us put it off. That is where Castrol comes to our rescue. This is just as good as the more expensive NS-3 rated brands. I have bought it before, used it a few times, put many miles on the vehicle, then used it again. I have experienced zero issues, and saved a lot of money using it. My vehicle is a 2022 Mitsubishi Outlander with 105K miles as of this review. So far, I have drained and refilled the CVT three times and it works as well as the day I drove it off the lot.Five stars all day long!!!
