I make a huge variety of cookies during the holidays for gifting to friends and family. I like to make them bite-sized so that they can be shared and no one has to feel guilty for trying more than one kind. I previously ordered a Norpro Grip-Ez scoop in a 2 teaspoon size but wanted a smaller one as well so I got this one. No comparison! The Norpro is a much better quality scoop. The grip is actually non-slip silicone whereas this one is plastic and will eventually come off with use (I know from experience). Also, I ordered the 1 teaspoon size but it’s exactly the same size as my Norpro 2 teaspoon one. I’m on the hunt again and will return this one.

Excellent gadget for holiday baking. Easy to wash, comfortable grip and mechanism extracts perfect little scoops (butter/cheese balls/rum balls/ melon balls/ice cream balls… possibilities are endless)

This scope broke after only about a weeks use of scoping small sized cookies. The broken piece is the one that pushed the cookie out. Therefore preventing the futher use of the scope

This scoop was 2 tsp just like it said. I was worried as some reviews said it was 1 TBP or more and I already have that size. Love it.
