The UV wavelength reacts with the catylist to kill germs and the peroxides are carried through the space to kill mold.

It was not as bright as the old ones and it blinked a few times , almost looked like it was not going to work.

does not work
Bought in March and decided to replace my old bulb, several years old and still working, by this one.Plug it in and looks like starter wants to flash the bulb but nothing is happening. Just lost my money
