This is a great quality shovel. Much better than the wooden handled one we have had before. I was able to dig in my lawn, dig around soil on asphalt and even use it to break some weeds roots. We have had it outside under a covered patio for a while now and it still seems like it’s in excellent condition. I would absolutely buy this shovel again.

We used to have two shovels. Both shovels had wooden handles, and both shovels succumbed to the exuberant use by our teenage kids. So when it was time to get a new shovel, we needed to make sure that it would stand up to the use it would get in our household. Finding one without a wooden handle was paramount.The Nupla RP2L-E shovel fit the bill nicely! We used it (or rather, our boys and our girls used it) to level our backyard to make space for our new above ground pool. It stood up to the repeated use and the ergonomic handle didn't make blisters on any of their hands. The blade of the shovel withstood a ton of hidden stones in the ground. It was perfectly balanced so that the digging went along quickly, as well as making the kinesthetics use of the shovel easy on their young bodies. I tried it myself (a woman in her mid-fifties) and I was pleased with its action.I would definitely buy this shovel again, but I suspect that the handle will last a lot longer than our previous shovels, and so it might be a while. However, because of the quality of this shovel, I will definitely look to see if they have other tools available. You can never have too many good tools, you know.

Thankful to have it, I do want to add it's a big size but is light enough for a frail ole woman like me to use. It's sturdy and plenty strong enough to dig out big roots along the farm house base and the chicken house. Sturdy enough to shovel gravel into a wheel barrel for loading over to the driveway. I bet it can tackle any big job out there that is labor intensive for strong people and versatile enough for the jobs i can do too no matter how small. Sincerely, Kelly

The Slayer was THE tool to eliminate the big fat nasty bamboo-like weeds growing in our back yard. We had given them multiple servings of increasingly potent weed killer, but they were still holding on. We had the ambitious goal to lay lawn, so they had to go. The slayer-shovel was light and strong, and uprooting the nuisance was highly satisfactory. We would still be at it next week without the slayer and the wonderful gloves featured in the photo. Highly recommend, we will probably ship it to family members for their yard project (stories of the traveling slayer to come! ).

This shovel is great quality, but is heavy and can be a bit much after a few hours at the garden work.

Its a good value. Its sturdy and have had no problems with it. It digs the holes I need to bury the items I want.
