Original Panama Jack Matte Toyo Straw Safari Sun Hat,Ivory, L/XL

The hat fits just fine. The quality of the hat is great. I am so UPSET with how the hat arrived. The shipping was so bad, it I completely crushed!!!! We leave for vacation on Tuesday and so wanted my husband to take it. I was so excited today when it arrived on Father’s Day. When he opened it, I got so sad and mad. Not at all impressed with the shipping. He hat is completely crushed. Disappointed to say the least!!!!!

I ordered this hat for a Gatsby party on Saturday. Like the style and from pictures and reviews the quality looks like what I was looking for. Received it today in a shipping box (standard Amazon style) - big enough to accommodate the hat - but the hat was squashed down in the box. Disappointing - the quality is as expected but I have no reason to believe that it will ever get its original shape back. Too bad with this unnecessary rough handling of a nice and delicate hat....

I was really excited when I ordered this hat. I pictured myself on the trip I'll be flying out for in 8 days wearing this hat. This is my first Panama Jack hat I've ever bought, and I'm extremely disappointed both with the poor packaging and how the inner fabric ring was separating on arrival.This was shipped in a typical yellow shipping envelope, which the postal carrier stuffed in my apartment mailbox. The photos are after I did my best to bend it back into shape (it was a pancake when I pulled it out of the bag) and the stitching on the inside was torn. I don't know if it's worth another $36 to buy a new one or if it would even arrive before my flight. Very disappointed by my first experience with a Panama Jack hat.

Satisfied with the quality and fit of the hat. Packing left much to be desired. The hat was a bit bent out of shape on arrival.

My husband loves this hat. It’s his favorite one, and people always say it makes him look like a millionaire on vacation. ;) One star lost because it arrived poorly packed, and the brim was lopsided. After using a steamer and going through some wear, the brim straightened out, but if you don’t want to mess with that, it would be a pretty big hindrance

The hat fit as expected, looks to be of quality materials and assembled very well but shame on the gorilla who squashed it into the Amazon box with no padding!But the BIG problem is this hat is not suitable in humidity levels above 30 percent. I sweated so much at my head, that sweet was dripping in my eyes and into/ont hearing aids I wear in both ears and I wasn't working, just walking outside.

The hat itself is very nice. The quality is good. It is unfortunate that whomever is tasked with packaging the hat thinks its fine to crush it to make it fit in a box it clearly will not fit in. Had to return it and will not order another one. Buyer beware.

I emailed the company when I ordered it... they made sure it got sent out asap so that it would arrive in time for my vacation trip... the hat got a little crumpled up going through the airport x-ray machine (I should not have set it on top of my other stuff, should have used a separate bin for it).. but other than that it held up well and looks great...
