i bought this primarily to work with my headset at work which uses USB micro to charge, it works really well with that, i tried it with some USB C item, again no problem, however when i tried some apple devices no luck they would not charge, i tried wiggling the connector, plugging and unplugging but no luck. To be honest i think that is more of an issue on the apple device side as i've had issues with them charging off 3rd party cables before. One build i would like is to not have the led, it doesn't indicate anything other than the cable has power so id happily live without it and it would be one less thing glowing when the lights go out.

These charging cables I would not say they are fast charging as a normal cable will charge within an hour and these are 2-3 hours.

Charges the phone which is why I bought them

Most of these types of quick connectors won't work if you have a protective case on your phone or tablet. These ones work on my phone and iPad with the cases on because they are the same shape as the cut out.The magnetic connection it fairly good, would better if a little stronger but I accept that it has a small area to work with so I'm happy with these.

mostly works ... apart from the iphone connector, which randomly becomes unrecognised by my phone (and the only way to notice that is by the phone not charging. Which is pretty annoying if you expect the phone to charge overnight and wake to an empty battery). the only fix is to remove and re-insert the lightning connector.

Magnet could be a little stronger but otherwise really good.

I was fed up of the charging cable pins that clip into the charging port wearing down after a month so I bought these and they are so much better. You can keep them in all of the time as they are small enough not to interfere with your hand. They don't interfere with my phone case either (the round connectors that you can buy might have more issues regarding this). The magnetic connector connects very easily and smoothly and all you have to do to disconnect is hold the end of the cable between your finger and thumb and gently turn the phone up or down (away from the cable). This is product eliminates wear and tear on the phones charging port and the connector.
