Dogs love these, trainers love these. I’ve been an admirer for quite a number of years. These are tiny enough to be a perfect quick reward, tasty enough to keep dogs focused, and clean enough to where they don’t mess up your pockets. One big disadvantage is that they do dry out if left out in the air. If you didn’t make sure to reseal the bag properly, the entire bag will dry out in a matter of days and go from soft and easy to eat to hard and dry. Hard and dry little treats make dogs hack. If you’re a clicker trainer, you know how annoying and counterproductive it is when a treat causes your dog to cough - it makes it very hard to do a quick succession of clicks/rewards and stalls shaping behaviors. I wish they found the way to make these treats stay moist/soft if left in the pocket or if the baggie didn’t seal all the way.

I don’t know how to rank the flavor? Haha like heck I’m going to eat these. However the dog hasn’t complained. I did buy the rabbit flavor this time. But the duck flavor has the strongest smell. Which is what you want for puppy training. The smellier the better. And the ingredients seem to be harmless. The size of these are perfect for training. However if your dog chews their food at all—well, these get stuck in my dog’s teeth. Which distracts her away from what I’m using the treats for in the first place. I had to switch to another training treat as these were counterproductive for her.
