If you don't have a mug warmer like this, you are missing out! I'm that person that will take 3 hours to finish a cup of coffee, so this was a total game changer. No more microwaving!Pros:- Easy to use.- Multiple temp settings. I wasn't really sure why I would want/need this, but it actually works out great because I can turn the temp down when I'm half way through my cup and it keeps it from being -too- hot.- Sleek design. I think it looks really nice. :)- Turns off automatically after 8 hours.Cons (kind of):- The blinking light. The power button constantly blinks when the device is plugged in. Once it's turned on then the light is on, but not blinking. This is just a minor inconvenience because if it's not in use you have to unplug it to get the light to stop blinking. That being said, it's only "kind of" a con because my previous mug warmer did not have a very visual way to tell if it was on, thinking it was unplugged I once accidentally set a pillow on top of it and it burned a huge hole in the pillow! Thankfully it didn't do anything worse, but I kind of like that I can readily tell if this device is plugged in/on/potentially hot + it automatically turns off after 8 hours.

Overall, this product is an excellent addition to any desk space. The color compliments my work area and the size is pretty compact taking up very little space. The warmer works very well for its purpose and I am happy to own it. I usually use the computer first thing in the morning along with 1-2 cups of coffee for the day. At that, I find myself with half a cup of cold coffee by the time I finish drinking a cup.I tested the product in two different ways. First, I had about a quarter cup of cold coffee in reach when I realized I had this package waiting to be opened. I unboxed it, plugged it in, and put it to test on a quarter cup of cold coffee. Within 15 minutes, the last of my coffee was warm and more enjoyable to drink up. Second, I tried it on a full cup of fresh hot coffee. Over the span of an hour, the coffee maintained a "just right" temperature and my coffee was enjoyable from beginning to end.One disadvantage is the cord length. I think the cord could be a little longer considering its intended use at a desk. The cord is about 3 feet in length and comparable to an Apple phone charger. I placed the warmer right near my keyboard, but it stretched just to reach the outlet. Some advantages include style, size, functionality, and features. Once you plug it in, the warmer powers on. There are four different temperature settings to choose from. I used the highest setting to bring my cold coffee to an enjoyably warm temperature and the second-lowest setting to maintain the warmth of my fresh hot coffee. You can't go wrong with this mug warmer. Especially if you are a morning person & coffee lover like me!

Update: My original review (below) was overall good. It kept my coffee hotter than any warmer I had ever owned, and I had owned a ton of them. But, after two weeks it quit working altogether. I returned it and received a full refund. I have given up on coffee warmers and now drink my coffee from a 32-ounce steel tumbler from Black Rifle. It keeps my coffee hot for hours.(Original Review) I would give this coffee warmer five stars because it keeps my coffee hot for hours, and I have never owned one that did as good or better than this one, BUT the on/off sensor button does not turn all the way off. The heating plate does get cold but the blue blinking light does not turn off unless the unit is unplugged. At night the blue blinking light could likely be used by a lighthouse during a heavy fog--very annoying and distracting. I would not buy this again. And good luck trying to understand the instructions; my family and I had a hearty laugh while I read them aloud.

I sort of wish the highest setting,140F, was the third setting. I wish the highest got to 145-150F. With that being said, the highest level keeps my coffee plenty warm/hot for me to enjoy a cup for over an hour. I hate cold coffee and I never throw out the last quarter of the cup.Still giving 5 star, because it does exactly what it is suppose to do, and 140F is one of the hotter choices I saw at this price.

Question: Just what were the engineers thinking? Why would one have to unplug this unit to turn it off, but that is what happens. The directions say "Power off: Just unplug the warmer." They note that the warmer will shut itself off in 8 hours, but that - to me - is not safe for a warmer, hot plate, or heater. You must be able to turn it off immediately, and then unplug if you choose.

I just love this product. I was able to leave coffee on there for almost an hour and return and it is still hot!!!! So convenient, the quality is awesome. I would definitely recommend this product.

This is a great item to keep or even reheat that perfect "cuppa"____(fill in the blank). I placed a cup of coffee that became cold on the heating plate, on the highest setting, and it reheated it to hot with steam! It runs absolutely silently. No sound emmitted during operation. It is compact enough to fit even with minimal space available.My only cons:1. The Power button only turns the plate on. To shut off you have to unplug it.2. The cord is not very long. Just long enough to be plugged in to the Power strip on the floor while sitting directly above on the desk.

I was a little skeptical about trying another warmer because I had tried three others that did not keep my coffee warm. I must say that I was/am pleasantly surprised and very happy that this actually works. I am a slow coffee drinker, i make my coffee at 8:30 and used to have to drink it fast because i don't like warm coffee however, with this item, I make my coffee at the usual time and at 10:48am, my coffee is still just a hot as it came out of the pot. I love it..........
