The kettle works well and the metal part looks fine, but the imitation wood grain on the handle and top does not look as good as in the picture. The grain of the "wood" looks very obviously fake up-close, so much so that it distracts me from the look of the rest of the kettle. It's a shame, the metal part has a very nice looking color and texture, I wish they has just left the coating on the handle a solid black or gray. Functionally it's fine, the handle heats up a bit, but not too much to touch.

This kettle works and looks as described. It can get splattered sitting on the stove but so far cleans up easily. It is a nice lightweight kettle. The handle and trigger is clever. The whistle is not too loud.

I said it all in the title, but I'll add that the lid and finger trigger functions work great! Well made!
