OfficeGYM The Office Chair Trainer

VERY helpful customer service. I called because I needed a new screw, and one was mailed to me the next day via priority mail! I also had step by step help over the phone to assemble the OfficeGym, which was a really simple and easy process. The whole apparatus is not too bulky and is very light, so it's perfect to store away when needed! Now that it is all set up, I'm looking forward to getting my mom the work out she needs while working!! :)

This doesn't work fully with my current chair.My chair is a cushy, tall back chair. I had to strap it on with horizontal strapping layout rather than the preferred X shaped strap method shown in the pictures on the listing. When you purchase this you get two long and short straps along with a special one to strap the arms together for stability. I had to use the long ones even to strap them horizontal like I did. They weren't long enough to strap on the other way.With only being able to strap it on horizontally, I'm unable to safely do shoulder presses, because they warn that the unit could slip off if I do.I've got them on pretty tight and the cushion is squished up. I don't know if it will affect the shape of the chair cushion when I remove this.If you have a shorter chair that isn't as cushy and has a separation between the seat and the back (so you can slip the straps through) this will work better for you.The design of this very well thought out and the resistance bands are way easier to switch out than I expected.I did receive this product at a discount in exchange for my honest review.I do recommend this, but I wanted to warn you to pay close attention to how your office chair is designed. I received my OfficeGym yesterday & it's been the talk of town here at work. Although the instructions seemed easy enough I did have a little trouble assembling. A coworker put it together in just under 10 minutes.I have a desk job so I'm pretty stationary throughout the day. Although this isn't necessarily the cardio workout I'd get from a desk treadmill, it does provide a pretty strenuous workout. I thought I'd forget to use it but I find myself doing arm stretches anytime my hands are idle (somewhat rare LOL)I'd give this one 5 stars but haven't had it long enough to truly say it delivers results. I can say that after a day of no more than about 40 reps, I feel the burn :)Price: I received this product at a discounted rate in exchange for my honest review. Although I got it a great discount, when I shared the retail price with several coworkers who asked, they scoffed at the $99 price point.

I bought this at the physical store in Canada and OH MY! The people are so great! They listened to my needs, asked me the right questions to get me to open up about what I really needed and they recommended this wonderful piece of equipment. The need that was "uncovered" was that I actually needed a way to get physical exercise into my daily workday. I've been using this at my office now for 90 days and aside from all of my coworkers trying to borrow it all the time, I've lost over 10 pounds and had more energy:)
