バネ式で指でつまむ回転式カッターが故障したので、より構造が単純で故障しにくい、このカッターを購入しました。ステンレス鋼の削り出しで、しっかりした作りです。切れ味が良く、カット時の痛みはありません。バネ式で指でつまむタイプは、切る時にカチャカチャ音がしましたが、コレは直接指で回転させるので無音です。オフィスやホテルのトイレの個室などで使用する時に、無音でカットできるのは良いです。ちなみに購入して初めて知ったのですが、メイドイン北朝鮮でした…。

Follow-up review: This product worked well for two weeks. It sat in my drawer for a week after that and when I tried to reuse it, it just stopped working. The rotating mechanism seems to have jammed/stuck. No amount of pressure (even with pliers) or oiling the rotating parts seems to make it rotate again. Really frustrated and disappointed.Initial Review: Love the fact that no batteries or plastic casing involved in structure and functioning of the device. Quite and painless. Does a good job but requires a bit of angling to get everything, but was quicker than scissors (although scissors are required for one or two strands left behind). This review was done after only a couple of uses. Not sure how the product will hold up in a few months from now.
