Perfect for what I needed. Maybe not as strong as a poly batting but I wanted real cotton & this did the job.

I read on the comments it was thin... well it is VERY thin!I needed the wadding for a quilt, I don't think it is suitable for my project. Someone has advised to double it to use it, I don't think it will be right then, so maybe to use for a wall hanging project, rather than for a bed cover.Otherwise the material is soft and has a nice feeling to work with.

Well, what can I say? Why didn’t I read the reviews? I normally do, but shocked by the price of my usual batting choices, Warm and Natural and Hobbs, I bought this to make quilted cushion covers as Christmas presents. Hurrah I thought - this is a good price and I’ll be able to make all the cushion covers with one piece. So wrong. It’s so thin and fragile. Soft enough and I didn’t get the smell others complain of, but I’m going to have to double it up to use it. So I’ll have to buy more - but I won’t be using this again.

I didn’t dislike anything

I was extremely disappointed with this product. The only positive thing I can say it is soft. Other than that it is so thin it is not suitable for a quilted throw.The wadding needed to be doubled over to give any kind of a soft comfortable feel. This makes the sewing a little more tricky as the four layers can slip ! ( top and bottom fabric and two layers of wadding) lots of pins were needed.It also come out much more expensive when you need to use double the quantity. It is also very messy and bitty to work with.I would not recommend this product.

Ich wollte etwas natürliches, leichtes und dünnes, waschbares. Dieses Baumwollvlies erfüllt genau die Kriterien die ich gesteckt habe und als ich es aus seiner Verpackung holt, roch es sogar sehr gut. Nun, dass es am Anfang etwas faltig war, hat mich nicht gestört. Gedacht hatte ich das Vlies für eine Kinderdecke und was soll ich sagen, meine Enkelin liebt ihre neue Decke über alles. Warm genug scheint sie auch zu sein ;)) und nach dem Waschen war die Quiltdecke genau so wie sie sein soll.Fazit, wer etwas natürliches haben will der ist mit diesem Vlies gut bedient.

Seit Jahren nähe ich Patchworkdecken, aber ein so schlechtes Material hatte ich noch nie. Und das als Volumenvlies zu benennen ist blanke Ironie. Es ist einfach dünner Bastelfilz, der dazu noch erbärmlich fusselt, keine Bindung hat. Geht zurück, nie wieder.
