Simple, Reliable, and Perfect for On-the-Go Setups
This portable docking station is exactly what I needed for a quick and easy workstation setup. It’s very easy to use—just plug and play with no hassle. It includes all the basic ports you need, making it super convenient to connect an external keyboard, mouse, and monitor. The display ports work well, and there’s no noticeable lag or connection issues.Perfect for anyone looking to expand their laptop's connectivity while traveling or working remotely. Compact, reliable, and gets the job done.

Allows plug in of sound jack instead of bluetooth headphones
USB-C hub for iPad Pro or MacBook Pro that has an audio port for a mini sound plug and power pass thru for USB-C charging.

Good but don't use the built-in audio port
I have ordered dozens of these exact 11-in-1 Anker docks (for my work) and overall they are good except the audio ports which keeps failing. Just using the audio port will cause the whole dock to get hot and not work correctly. If you unplug it and let it cool down it will start working again but if you keep trying to use the audio port the heat will eventually permanently damage the dock.My solution was to purchase a couple USB to 3.5mm audio jack adapters from UGREEN and plug my audio cable into that which plugs into one of the USB ports and I haven't had issues since.

Excellent hub for a reasonable price
I tried a number of different hubs before purchasing this Anker model and was unhappy with all of them, but i'm really happy with the Anker, all of its features work very well (even with my iPhone 16PM!) and easily deserves a 5 star rating. Especially noteworthy highlights include so far i've been able to use any port, or any combination of--or all--ports (including power delivery (PD) at the same time. Plus the MicroSD card and SD card ports show up as separate drives in file system (unlike with many other hubs having the same two card ports) and the Ethernet port allows much faster data throughput speeds than any i've ever seen on the iPhone using any wireless connections (including 5GHz Wifi or 5G cellular).

External Build Quality is Nice, Audio Jack Failed Due to Poor Internal Soldering
When I received this Anker Hub, I was struck by the seemingly superior build quality as it felt like solid aluminum. I hooked everything up to my MacBook Air via USB-C and a 67W Apple USB-C Charger for passthrough charging no problem. My monitor connected via HDMI with no issues either. I did have an issue getting my Logitech USB webcam working properly in either USB 3.0 port, but it would work okay while plugged into the (presumably USB 2.0?) "Keyboard/Mouse" USB Port so that worked once I figured that out. However, today I turned on my computer to find no audio output. I tested my Bose speakers with another source and they were fine, I plugged direct to my MacBook no issue there either. No matter how many restarts or shutdown and boot attempts I made, or connecting headphones to the Audio jack, that jack on the Anker Hub is toast. I went through the reviews for it and did a search for "audio jack" and found about 10 or 12 other reviews mentioning the same thing, that the shoddy soldering job inside would cause the 3.5mm audio jacks on these hubs to die anywhere from a few days to few months after hooked up. When I tried to contact Anker support for a replacement, they just simply state they do not provide refunds and will not replace their clearly defective product (even though it is under 2 months old). So lesson learned, no more Anker products for me at this point.

Mixed results with MacBook Air M2
I needed a USB-C hub with ethernet and having audio out would be a plus. The Anker 11-in-1 seemed to be the right choice even if the cost was a bit high. After receiving it, the hub feels well built and is a nice shape/size. I connected it up to my MacBook Air M2 setup with a 4K monitor, backup drive, USB3 hub, power, ethernet and audio.- Ethernet issuesEverything worked except the ethernet. MacOS does not show an ethernet adapter present and after quite a bit of reading, no one else seems to reference it, either as working or not. Anker has no drivers and does not reference it other than saying it has ethernet. No solution has been found.- Audio issuesI have found out that everything else works seamlessly and reliably except the audio output. When I "dock" the MacBook sometimes there is no auto output. MacOS does not show the Anker as an output option. Unplugging the hub and removing power from it (PD) and then reconnecting it again solves the issue, basically disconnecting all power from the hub. Once in a while the laptop will wake up to have no audio output as well. Again unplugging and replugging the hub and PD solves this. Unfortunately I am tired of that unreliability and so I just connect the audio to the built-in plug on the MacBook.- ConclusionIn the end I am not using the two things I very much desired to have in a hub and as such, the added money spend was wasted. The 7-in-1 was probably the better choice and I would have gotten a card reader for about 1/3 the cost.- Update on Nov.7, 2022I updated MacOS to Ventura and now I have a new network connection. It has a non-intuitive name, AX88179A, but it is in fact the ethernet connection on the 11-in-1 Anker, and it works. So at the moment, one issue is fixed.
