Easy to set
Easy to set but watch your fingers as very strong and sensitive you will need bait. I use peanut butter. Very cheap and rats kove it. Nake sure no pets can get near it

After many attempts at catch and release (I know Your not supposed to!!) due to damage caused by Rodents in My Garden, I finally resorted to Poison bait, which made Me feel awful!!I needn't have, as little blue poops kept appearing everywhere, the ONLY evidence that the bait had been taken, and, TOTALLY ENJOYED by all accounts!!Further damage, including wiring being chewed through and shorting out the freezer in the shed, which wasn't discovered for 2 weeks𤢠made My mind up!!Enough was enough and the big guns had to be called in!!I received My traps on the Saturday, a day after ordering, set them all immediately and on the Sunday morning, I had a HUGE Rat and a Mouse(š¢)Further results are "good" and hope to gradually rid Us of the plague!Mind Your fingers when setting, and bait BEFORE setting and putting in place, it DOES hurt!!Peanut butter works very well.Decent product for the price, and no real mess to speak of when removing bodies, as the act is instant!

Not sensitive enough
They are good, but we have captured vermin eating the bait without setting off the trap. Good size. And when they work, they work.

Rat Traps that work
Although plastic, these rat traps are strong and so far these have accounted for 4 adult rats when baited with Nutella. The kill in all cases appeared to be efficient/humane with broken necks. The trap plate is easily triggered, unlike traditional traps that use a stiff wire through a metal staple.

Caught my rat. Donāt like doing it but when it needs to be done this was instant no painful slow death.

They snap and break.
Imagine embarking on a noble quest to rid my kingdom (aka garage) of cunning rat invaders, armed with the latest in rodent warfare technology. Alas, my trusty traps turned out to be about as effective as a chocolate teapot. Despite my strategic deployment and the allure of gourmet peanut butter, not a single rat fell for my ploy. It was like throwing a party and having nobody show up. The only action my traps saw was a bit of snap, crackle, and pop, sans any rat casualties. These clever creatures either moonwalked right past the danger zone or the traps simply lacked the oomph to clinch the deal. But wait, the plot thickensāeach dramatic snap not only missed its mark but also heralded the self-destruction of the trap. The plastic, aspiring to be more than it was cut out for, shattered under the pressure, quite literally. It was a spectacle of low-quality materials meeting a dramatic end, leaving me with a mess of peanut butter and trap debris. In a twist of fate, I switched allegiances to the Blackcat traps, renowned for their rat-catching prowess. And what do you know? They started "killing it" in the literal sense. The rats, perhaps lured by the traps' sleek, ninja-like efficiency, met their match. So, to anyone considering a foray into the glamorous world of rat trapping, let my tale be a lesson. Sometimes, it's not about the bait or the intention, but the right tool for the job. And sometimes, that tool is a Blackcat, not a glorified peanut butter holder that doubles as a self-destructing art piece.
