It’s a BEAST
The best fc and esc all together I’ve ever used. It is def a beast like it’s name . The only esc fc I use now. I just broke one because it dropped out of the sky about 100 for to concrete. All my fault though , but I put that thing to the test man and it finally broke . It took a 100 for drop to concrete to do it though . Def worth the money.

Not using an MPU6000 gyro as advertised!
My Beast did not come with the advertised MPU6000 gyro. In fact the gyro it has on board is locked at 3.2khz with a max PID loop of 3.2khz instead of the standard 8khz gyro with 8khz PID loop that is typical of F7 FCs with MPU6000 gyros. False advertising for sure. UPDATE: After doing more research it turns out what I received is a V2 which now uses a BMI270 gyro which is inferior to the MPU 6000 for quads.

Incorrect ESC firmware pre-installed.
This came with betaflight 4.2.4 installed, this is all well and good. HOWEVER the motors will not spin with the standard bidirectional dshot and rpm filtering. You must download and flash blheli_m or your protek 35 will never leave the ground.Given that blheli_m is open source and free, and the only way the drone for which this board is marketed for will fly; I find this poor choice on iflight and thus minus a star. After freaking out thinking I ruined this board and spending 30 minutes googling I got it and my drone back in flying shap.

No documentation for flashing. None.
don't get why there is no documentation on this beast.just try and find flash target. Hours now trying to find it should charge them for it. Just need to flash on betaflight. Done trying.

OMG It DOESN'T have i2c!?!? And only 4.5 uarts
OMG It DOESN'T have i2c!?!? And only 4.5 uarts.I can't believe a board that costs this much doesn't break out the SDA and SCL pins... I saw that it has baro and assumed like an idiot that it has connections for magnetometer. Some sites advertise this board as iNav capable... while technically true, GPS not very useful on a multirotor without compass. I may be returning it, especially since I can't even get a response from iFlight... Sad really. I have spent a lot of money with them. This entire quad from frame to motors are iflight parts. Hopefully I can find a way to map the i2c to one of the 4.5 uarts that they allow me access to. so I guess GPS will use 2 of them, DJI on a 3rd and 4th, then crossfire on 5... No where to hook any more devices like RSSI or telemetry (fport, smart port)I'm almost back in the same shape I was in with the F4... I only upgraded this board so I could run GPS and compass (and maybe iNav). Without compass, I will likely be returning this board. I have been waiting 3 days for a response from iFlight because I don't want to solder to this board in case I need to return it. I'm tired of holding up my project because they aren't checking emails or just don't care/want to share info.Pretty disappointed. This looks like a pretty great board otherwise, but that is a SERIOUS oversight.(Don't let them lie to you about 5 uarts. One of them is RX only with no TX pad. That's why I say 4.5 uarts)

Poor quality
I put this in a 3" Tadpole HD. I initially configured BetaFlight and flew about 15 packs through it. I tried to connect to PC again and the USB port no longer works.

burned up on first throttle punch
everything seemed fine upon installation, first test hover went good, everything functioning as it should, all solder joints were done correctly, first throttle punch it fell out of sky and bottom side of board was burnt black. still powered up but 2 motors just twitched no spinning. Big let down as it wasn't cheap. this was on 6s battery . would be nice to get replacement as this one was either defective or shouldn't be advertised as 6s capable

arrived with non-functioning USB port/bootloader
Attempetd every combination of driver fix. Zadig, ImpulseRC Driver Fixer etc. Tried different USB cables, different PCs. Tried resoldering all connections. even desoldered everything and cleared every pad. still does not enter DFU mode. Will not be buying again which is a shame because this is currently the only board of it's class available right now.
