Batman: A Death in the Family The Deluxe Edition

If this book didn’t get you into Batman then nothing would, was my first graphic novel as a kid. If I could give it 10 stars I would 👍🦇

I went through my AmZ history, and noticed i bought this TPB in 2012!Gotta have a hardcover!A well collected title that captures one of the most pivotal moments in the Dark Knight's career. What impressed me is that it not only portrayed the event in question, but it also collected the conclusion which filled the void and returns readers to the status quo of the legacy for the character. After this title, the next major arcs come from the Venom arc and Knightfall series.I consider this book the 2nd part in the fall of the Batman, preceded by The Killing Joke and succeeded by Knightfall

Diferente de algumas edições Deluxe feitas pela DC, onde sequer o material principal era apresentado de uma maneira condizente com a edição, A Death in the Family está excelente. A história principal vem em sua melhor apresentação até o momento, tanto no material usado como na qualidade da imagem. Além disso, está presente o final alternativo não publicado originalmente e outro excelente arco, "A Lonely Place of Dying" de Marv Wolfman, que não tem uma edição própria lançada recentemente.

Not going to comment on the comic itself, but the quality of the physical book. It is a shame that DC skimps on the quality of this masterpiece by printing on a ‘Newspaper’ like paper. Would appreciate if it is printed on glossy paper, the typical paper quality u would have expected on deluxe edition.
