Must have for thick, curly hair!
First let me say that I HATE that I even had to make this purchase. I bought this from Zindachi and it was a life saver. The flimsy comb that come with the shampoo was not going to cut it on the super, extra thick and curly hair my daughter has. The first thing I did was soak her hair in coconut oil. This really loosened up her hair and the lice just slid right off. I was able to catch it early on so the infestation was not that bad, but the majority she did have slid right off. I untangled her hair quickly with Michel Mercier Detangler - Detangling Hairbrush (Green for Normal or Regular Hair) (blue for thick hair, best brush EVER) and then I went through with this Lice comb. Not only did it get any lice she had, it also takes out any little bit of lint that can easily get caught in curly hair. WONDERFUL. Super hard for a 2 year old to sit still for a long time, so this comb made the process a little less painful. The stainless steel is very sturdy and the grooves in the teeth really make it easy to pull everything out. Comb look exactly like the picture. While this is a great purchase, I hope that I never have to use it again!

Great product!
Love this comb! I have 3 daughters with curly and thick hair who seem to have lice magnets on their heads. Every few months we seem to be fighting them but this comb is great! I even ordered a spare to use to part my 4 year old twins curly hair when I'm combing it. They are mixed (black, white and Mexican) and this works very well for parting. Just try to keep it somewhere less visible when people go through your purse. The looks on my friends purses when they saw a lice comb in my purse was the funniest thing ever lol.

I like that it is metal and easy to clean and ...
I went through many rounds of lice and used various types of combs before landing on this one. I like that it is metal and easy to clean and not easy to break. However, I do not like that you can't see the lice or eggs that come off your hair when you use it, this is key in seeing how severe the damage is on any given day. I went back to using the plastic nit comb that came with the kits because I could see everything that came off, but after several uses, these plastic ones break.

It's fine and not uncomfortable to use
The lice comb provides peace of mind that I'm doing a reasonable job hunting for lice on the kid... It's fine and not uncomfortable to use... I didn't find better value elsewhere, but I was interested in purchasing the comb only to do the checks and will purchase the shampoos when/if needed.

Excellent comb. The Zindachi lice comb is a quality product. It is the perfect size and has a nice weight to it so feels comfortable in your hand. It doesn’t pull on hair like other combs and its teeth are grooved and tight, effectively removing lice and nits. I even used this comb with water and it has no signs of rust at all. I usually wash it by running it under the tap after rinsing in soapy water and it is easy to clean. It arrived on time and so far, has been the most effective tool in getting rid of lice for me. The Zindachi lice comb is a good value - I highly recommend it. Five stars.

Didn't work for us
This just did not work for us.I used these for two children who got lice from a group home. It got BAD so very quickly, resistant to treatment, just awful!The plastic combs that came with the OTC creme treatment did not work for nits, so I decided to try one of these metal ones.This was even less effective.The teeth are uneven and move away from each other during use so very easily.The spirals around the teeth seem to be useless and don't make a bit of difference.It didn't remove a single nit from 3 heads. Live lice sure, but any fine toothed comb can do that... I ended up spending so many hours picking out every single nit from every hair strand with my fingernails. NOT fun!Worse, after a few rinses it began rusting despite the description saying that it's rust-free stainless steel.There also was no logo and it felt cheaply made.

Didn't receive it.
We received a box Friday but it only had the mantel clock, the comb was missing. The box was not properly sealed so the small comb could have easily fallen out.
