One thing I notice is in the evening the glue hardened and deer/horse flies would land and take off. When the sun is out and warm they got coated with horse flies. I would get swarmed going out to the mailbox. Not anymore. My horse/deer fly issue disappeared within a week. We have a good breeze on the Florida coast. It swings the balls making them irrestible for those little....@*#&#%@$

Put up three balls, nice and sticky. They collected a few flies, but not as .any as hoped.

Worked great, attracted so many of our deer flies and many others. Just need to know how to clean off balls to reapply sticky spray?

Less than 12 hours up all three balls had hundred of those annoying deer flies on them.... Definitely worth the purchase.

The coating is not sticky enough. I coated the balls liberally with the coating, then watched a deer fly land and somewhat get stuck. A few moments later, it flew away. After reading some reviews, I sprayed even more on the balls and used up the entire can yesterday. When I came home this evening, the flies were swarming the balls, but not one fly was stuck. I watched several land and fly off. The balls on the other hand seem to attract the Flys. Definitely not worth the money for these blue balls without a sticky substance on them. The spray needs work.

Easy to set up. Horrible job catching deer flies. It catches small flies and little bugs great. Deer flies and horse flies land and then break free.

Deer flies. Made it miserable to go outside. We put these balls up and watched as deer flies. Got stuck to them.

The media could not be loaded.  These work great! Go heavy on the sticky spray. We sprayed them initially and noticed that the bugs could land and still take off if their wings didn’t touch. Still can if they don’t totally land themselves. We added some spray and now they work really good. Make sure you lean your shepherds post forward a little so the ball doesn’t stick to it. Also catches horseflies. Stood in my yard without one deer fly landing on me. We live in a heavily wooded area and only one buzzed me.
