The original cushions were easy to unclipse, like in one single grip and pull. You can see the clipses when pushing the cushion in a bit. I did not replace the old lining as it was still clean. The new cushion clipsed in easily too, just went around slowly and bent/pushed a bit until the lip was snapped in underneath all the clipses. The blue color looks good and looks good with the silver QC35 II.

It was fairly easy to install and it's almost as good as the original could be a little bit cushionier but the price is about a third of Bose price.

So far , so good. Installation took two min. Comfy and it seals the headphone well for max sound cancellation.

Easy to pad replacement work as good as the original pads.

I don't know why there are negative comments about this product. They were easy to install, they look great, they feel great, and aren't really that different from the original ear pad cushions.

Quick and easy! Saved my Bose headphones. The ear pads were really messed up. Now they are like new again. And the price was super reasonable.

I had high hopes for these!Prefacing, I'd perused the reviews before posting this and recognize most people have had stellar experiences with these, so, if the problem is me, call me out as these flat-out didn't fit my headphones whatsoever. I'd expected a near exact-match size replacement to snap into place but that didn't happen. I've got TWO pairs of headphones that these should work for and they didn't fit on either. I wasn't sure if there was a slight mismatch between both headphones and the replacement pads and I'd already discarded the originals from each long before searching on Amazon for replacements. I didn't even know they were available until searching, it's not as if the manufacturer mentions "BTW your headphones will outlive your earpads and you can get replacements", but glad they exist.I'd basically given up and stopped using my headphones as they were uncomfortable without earpads and had zero noise-canceling features without them. I wasn't going to force myself to wear uncomfortable headphones that didn't sound good. Speed up to a week ago!Seeing my headphones sitting unused prompted me to try replacement pads again and found a listing almost exactly the same wording as this one. They arrived promptly as this one did, the scrims being slightly less high-quality than this one and the pads slightly thinner on the padding but otherwise very similar. The difference? Those other ones, titled "Replacement Ear Pads Protein Leather High-Density Memory Foam Ear Cup Cushion Comfortable and Compatible for Bose Headphones Quiet Comfort QC35 & QC35" fit perfectly. I'm currently wearing one of the aforementioned headphones.I'm eager to refresh my other pair, and ... these popped up. I really wanted to enjoy these. They look fantastic, they appear to have nice materials, they just didn't fit. If I hadn't tossed them, I'd take photos in hopes someone could point out to me what's different than it should be or if there's some method I should be applying to install them? The other ones FWIW had no tools, I pushed them in and mostly snapped in the rest I went around the edge with my fingernail and pushed in, and they stayed on.If I received a fluke/one-off, I'd consider trying these again, but if they're the same that I received, then I'm going to have the same problem. HOW though would these not fit whatsoever and a similarly titled offering install perfectly without effort? Is there something different that I'm not seeing from the title shared? Confusing.I'd be grateful if anyone had any suggestions or explanations. I had tried contacting the seller initially but there was some cumbersome system in place circumventing me from doing so. I still don't see how to contact them about this which I would've preferred attempting first before publicly stating "these didn't work for me", unfortunately, these didn't work for me.

Refreshed my QC35 headset and feels like new! Perfect and exactly what I needed to save $200-300 for a new headset!
