My son buzzes his hair really short, therefore his scalp is exposed to the scorching summer sun. He wore this hat often throughout this summer and especially each time we went to the pool. It gave me great comfort, as my colleague's husband has had several precancerous spots removed from his head. It's also harder to notice these things in the hairline. I bought two of these UPF 50+ Sun Protection Hats. They wash very easily and dry quickly.

I was looking for an extended bill that wasn't too pronounced and this one is good! Extends about 1/2 inch longer than most of my hats and it's also a bit wider, so overall more coverage. I got the improved vs classic version which looks like the side breathable mesh and reflector are bigger on improved. Wore it on a run and it fit nicely. I have "avg" size women's head and I'm sure it would fit men well, but not too big for us gals! Folds nicely if want to store in cycling jersey pocket, etc. See no quality issues but haven't tried to wash it yet. Will likely add another one in different color!

This is the older version of this hat. I decided on this one as opposed to the newer version, because of the aesthetics, mainly. I'm a long distance recumbent trike cyclist. I don't wear a helmet because of nearly zero chance of falling. This hat has an extra long bill, which for me was important when making my choice, as I ride in direct sunlight most of the time. So fr no sweat stains. But even if/when they occur, they will wash out easily. I chose this brand for the price as compared to so-called name brand hats. After wearing this, I can assure the potential buyer, this is a light weight quality hat.

This fits nicely and is well made. It has vents along the sides and is lightweight enough for warm weather use. It is a very comfortable hat to wear. The bill on it is a little longer than other hats that I have and I like that very much for better shade . I purchased the khaki color and will likely pick up some more colors in the future. I have had trouble finding hats that fit as well as this one does . I'm very pleased with this purchase.

I used this hat for summer running. The visor is a little longer than a standard ball cap. I love how I can fold it up and pocket it in the shade to cool down and put it back on when the sun really beats down. My only complaint is that the buckle on the back quickly started to corrode. May not be a problem if you don't sweat a lot in it.

I got this hat to wear at the pool while teaching swimming lessons. And a month later it has been through multiple hikes, amusement park visits, days at the pool, a few yardwork sessions and lots of perspiration - and it still looks basically new. The foldable brim lets me stuff it in my bag when I'm not wearing it and also made a nice "package" around my phone and sunglasses when I had to take it off for roller coasters. I might get it in another color just for variety, but the light fabric really keeps my head cool and has held up very well. If you're debating, just do it!

I like to have a hat with a brim to keep the sun out of my eyes & rain off my head, but that can fold up for carrying in my jacket pocket till needed. I wanted one to go with my grey light jacket, so I ordered this one. I was pleasantly surprised that the brim itself actually folds! I didn't even know such a thin existed. It fits my needs perfectly. Size adjustment allowed the right fit & it doesn't look clunky. Very happy with my purchase. Price was reasonable as well.

Waterproof, nice, it's good for summer

This is the second one I got after losing the first one. It is my default hat because it is big enough for my large 59 cm head.

Feels indestructible.

Love the ventilation, and it's foldable.
