Needed to replace an existing system which was obsolete and all the extension handsets had stopped working. I am very pleased with this system it was easy to install and set up, bought additional extension handsets which registered without any trouble. Didn't buy the system for the hard of hearing benefits as my hearing aids work well, however it would be nice if there was a Bluetooth option to allow hearing aids a direct connection. My NHS hearing. aids connect directly to my iPhone using Bluetooth and the caller hears my voice via the aids so I don't need to take my phone out of my pocket to answer the call.We have only had this new phone system a couple of weeks bit ate well pleased with their performance, as an ex telephone engineer I think it is an excellent buy.

The price was a bit high but overall a good product

These phones are stated as being suitable for hard of hearing. The corded phone is fine but it was difficult/ complicated to set up. Once answered we could hold a conversation. However the two cordless ones are so quiet we slept through one ringing on our bed side table. I have good hearing my husband slightly hard of hearing. We had an expert check them for us and confirmed they were on volume 5 the highest rating. So unfortunately we have had to return them.However Amazon returns were amazing. Simple process easy instructions no printing wrapping etc. just dropped off at a local shop. I received a refund notification 2 hours later. Excellent service. Thank you Amazon

Unfortunately if you set up the phonebook on the base set , you then need to set up all the extra hand sets one by one. Because the Base set can not send the phone book on the base set across to the extra Hand set, even if registered to the base set.Not the best phone to set up especially if your got a lot of contacts to input. ☹️

My hard of hearing mother seems to be able to hear better with this phone. However, it's easy for her to forget to turn off the speaker option on main base- if she doesn't, the line is still in use! Shame the main base isn't cordless- we've had to buy a 25m extension to get the main phone to her upstairs room so she can benefit from the useful big buttons. Had to move her chair close to a wall as the main base needs to be wall mounted. It slides off a table too easily when phone in use if not.

I was worried about changing my Mum's phone. Her memory loss makes learning how to use any new household equipment a real challenge. For instance I bought her a new much lighter battery powered vacuum cleaner but she couldn't remember how to empty it or to plug it in. We had to go back to the old one. However she has got on really well with this phone. Firstly it is loud and she can hear us easily. Secondly as it is white she can see much more easily (she also has macular degeneration) than the old grey phone. It also is great having a chorded main phone as well as cordless units. So even if she forgets to put the cordless phones back on the charger we can still ring her and she can ring us. She also loves the big programable buttons. She just sees my name on the button and presses it to ring me straight away.

Unfortunately there were more negatives than positives. The phonebook couldn't be synced on all the phones. Imagine having to enter all your phone numbers three times! I did not like the display. The fonts were 8 segments characters like the 80's calculator display. The charge light on the handset stays on regardless, even when the battery is full. The dialling tone made me feel distressed, a very uncomfortable noise. I like the big buttons. It worked as a phone. In the end I sent it back and ordered a similar phone of a well known brand
