Nice CD player. Ordered to give to my cousin, who had been in the hospital weeks with Covid. She died shortly after I gave to her, so I really don’t know how it worked.

This seemed like a good CD player, but it didn't work for my needs or wants. I had purchased this to try ro imuse in my car, which does not have a CD player, nor an AUX input. I tried to plug it into my car using the USB plug, but it did not play through my car's speakers as I had hoped it would. It played through the device's speaker instead. Aside from my not being able to use it as I had hoped, it still seemed like a good, quality device. It played well, and I didn't notice any skips. But, I also did not keep it very long, since it didn't work for my needs. But if anyone is looking for a good stand-alone CD player, then try this one out. Just be wary that it won't work in a car that doesn't have an AUX input to play through the car's speakers, if that's your goal.

This product works in a 2025 Honda Pilot. I tried a "universal" CD player in 2024 and it would not play more than 1 track on any CD. So glad to be able to enjoy my CD's in my vehicle.

I am impressed the included headphones permit selection of music without depressing the buttons on the unit. (Not just normal headphones.) Headphones are ear buds. Fit my ear fine... but I will not be running with these in my ear. The buttons on the unit are backlit, which was a surprise to me. My old player would turn on while in my gym bag. This player has a switch on the side that will lockout button depresses and thus, not turn the unit on. For the price point, this is a great player! The player will play a CD 1 thru 5 times faster. The clarity of the music/words is not choppy when playing at high speed. On many CD players, fast forwarding will result with a skipping sound... and a loss of dialog. This unit is simply plays the music faster. Great for books on CD. Have not tried the card reader. MP3 and regular disk work well.

It is shocking to me that this product has generally positive reviews. This is my experience with this CD player.I have purchased this CD player 3 times. Yes, 3.1st purchase - When I first got it, it worked great. I loved it. After a few weeks, it started to glitch. Sometimes it wouldn't play certain CDs at all. Always, it would take several minutes to start working after being turned on. Eventually, I accidentally dropped it and it completely shattered. My fault, but clearly lacking durability for something that's going to be carried around. I assumed - because of the good reviews - that the glitches were an anomaly and I vowed to be more careful so I decided to buy it again.2nd purchase - Worked fine, no glitches. I was happy with it. I used it primarily in my car. I kept it on the seat next to me while driving. Well, I stopped a little short one day and it slid from the seat to the floor. Welp. The release that opens the CD player got damaged and the entire thing became unusable. Again, I didn't drop it out of a window. Just a 1 foot drop onto the car floor and this thing was toast. Somehow, I convinced myself to buy it again, vowing this time I would be extremely careful. That's how much I wanted a portable CD player with speakers.3rd purchase - No, I didn't drop it at all, basically treating it like it was made of eggshells. Somehow, after about a week, it just stopped working. Any CD I put in it, it would not play, giving some error message instead.I have to believe that either I have been extraordinarily unlucky with the product, or the positive reviews are all from people who used it once or twice before things started to go wrong.This thing is a lemon.

I really had enjoyed this cd player and then the tracks just stopped working along with all the other buttons. It still works if you play an entire cd all the way through but if you need to stop, pause repeat, or anything else, forget it! It only plays it all the way through & nothing else works anymore. VERY disappointing because this player has never left my bed…it has never been moved anywhere else, never been bumped or dropped, so there is absolutely NO reason for it to have stopped working after less than even one year of using to read at night in bed before I go to sleep - guess if you get this and any of these portable cd players, be sure you buy the warranties!!!
