Disappointed that only 1 of 3 of these worked. I purchased these because I liked the color and thought it would look nicer on the table - the color came out great too bad they don't work.

Wouldn't scare a fly
I almost never write a negative review. But with these fly shooers, there's not a lot to be happy about.Lightweight? Yes! But where I live, the wind is always blowing. These are so light, they are easily blown over.While I was checking them out, I had an open beer right next to one. The arms were just barely clearing the top of my beer bottle . . . and flies still landed on the top of my beer bottle! They weren't deterred at all, from what I could tell.Easy to use? Yes! Very simple, very easy.But the effectiveness was about zero.I should provide a full disclose here. My yard is VERY shady. Perhaps these units need full sun to work.In any case, for me, they didn't work at all.That's a rating of ZERO on the value for the money.

All scratched up…
The product seems to work well but unfortunately when they arrived, they were scratched up and damaged. And it didn’t appear they were damaged through the shipping process. It appeared that they had scratches on them through some kind of paint defect but that they were packaged up and shipped anyway. I need them for a party so I will keep them, but it’s very disappointing to order a brand new item I’ll need to open it up and it looks like it was dragged through gravel.

Stopped working
I had to send these back. They worked perfectly for 10 minutes and then quickly died after installing new batteries in them.

Not very effective
Bought three for a 4’x3’ dining table to keep flies away from food but it didn’t do any thing to deter flies from loitering all over the foods. It only keeps the flies away at the blades. Flies still walk under the blade since it’s elevated. Waste of my money. You get better luck buying a small fan that oscillates.

Wonderful product
First saw this being used at an open air restaurant. I was shocked at how well it kept flies off our food. Bought 3 for myself and family. Safe - not stiff rotating plastic
