Great product. Make sure it's threaded correctly!
Some are complaining that this strap does stay tight, but that's probably because it is threaded wrong. Mine was too. Check out the helpful review with the photo that shows the proper threading. Once you get that squared away, run the end of the strap with the white tag on it around your trailer tongue and then pass the end with the hook on it through the loop by the tag. Then you attach the hook to your bow eye and use the second strap with a looped end to pull the strap tight before you close the latch. It definitely holds tight as long as it's threaded properly.

Horrible!
I wish it wasn’t too late to get my money back. I purchased two of these and they do not work. The latch is flimsy and does not hold. The strap is inferior and has a loop where a hook should be!

Boat Buckle did it again!
This bow strap is perfect for my bass tracker. Don’t listen to the negative reviews. Once you figure out how to thread the strap through the buckle you will love it. Peace of mind knowing that you’re bow is secure from bouncing. I have boat buckles for the transom also. Can’t beat their quality.

Own a lot of Boat Buckle stoff
I own a lot of Boat Buckle brand stuff and am happy with all of it except this strap. It’s hard to get it tight and doesn’t always stay latched. I don’t have confidence in this product like I do their others. I bought a second one for the Wave Runner thinking maybe I damaged the one on the boat but it has the same challenges.

I used the hook and buckle end to strap a camera arm base to a tree. It does a great job of getting the strap tight.

Easy and effective
