The ruler is excellent. I had a similar ruler that was unofficially adopted in my quilting group, this ruler replaces it. It is very nice to use this size of ruler to cut squares. It is easy tp pack. I love it.

I was looking for this ruler at a reasonable price. I am enjoying it with the half inch built right in. Thank you for selling on Amazon where I do most of my shopping.

The quality was average at best, particularly the printing on the ruler.

Overall I think these rulers are a good value and will do the job needed for quilting. I purchased the 12.5" square and 6.5"x12.5" rulers. I always add OmniGrid grip to the backs of all of my rulers so they don't slip when cutting on fabric so I can't comment on how slick they are without it. A few things to note: 1) the thickness of these rulers are a bit thinner than the more well-known rulers. It didn't bother me, but a bit more care might be needed when rotary cutting. 2) the markings are different on each side. Whole numbers (1,2,3 inches...) are noted on the right side in yellow. When you flip the ruler around/upside down you have half numbers (.5, 1.5, 2.5, 3.5 inches...) noted in black. I think this is a good feature but it took a bit getting used to. 3) The one thing that I didn't like is the placement of the hanging hole. It is located at the top of the ruler but it is 1.5 inch down. It's not an issue if you hang up your rulers on a straight peg or nail but if you use S-hooks (like with the Ikea systems), the hole placement is too low so I am unable to hang these rulers with all of my others.
