Not sure what all the amazing reviews are about. I bought this because I got a new memory foam mattress that was a little to firm and I thought this would make it more comfortable while I am breaking in the new mattress however, this is no thicker than a regular mattress pad. Needless to say, it did not provide any extra comfort.

This was purchased for our guest room. Wanted something that was not only a mattress cover but had a little bit of plushness. This was perfect. It is cotton on one side and on the reverse, it is cushy and cozy for the winter. Loved it and it fit very well on my queen mattress. It delivered what I was looking for. That was not just a standard mattress cover but something that provided a bit more thickness and bonus it is reversable!

This is just a regular cover, with a not very heavy pad and does nothing about cooling.

We bought a new mattress and decided it was time to also replace our mattress pad. With a 16" mattress, depth was key and this fit the bill. Well made and easy to put on the mattress without stretching to the point of tearing.

I purchased this to use on my 9 inch memory foam mattress with a 3.5 inch foam topper. First I washed and dried it. Then I placed it on my mattress and it was easy to fit on it. Perfect fit, no bunching.Personally this is the best quality mattress cover that I ever purchased. It is soft, stays neat on my bed.My favorite feature is that is that it keeps my topper and foam mattress cool and comfortable all night long.Highly recommended.

My family recently decided to give my grandma’s suite a makeover. I picked up this cover for her. She’s loving it so far!

At first look..The box was so small, then I layed it on the floor and shook it a lot. I thought, this is going straight back. It was flat, I could feel the floor.The next day seemed to have plumped a little. I shook it out, but tossed it in a chair instead if on the bed. I really considered sending it back. The next day it was a little fluffier. I decided to try it and thought it's just a cover not mattress topper.It turns out it's really comfortable. It's just enough not to feel the designs on my mattress. It doesn't move when I put my sheets over it. I actually love it. I suppose you could sleep on it, it's really soft and silky feeling.So far as cooking, for me it does nothing, I'm very hot blooded.All and all considering, again I say it is not a mattress topper, but mattress cover/protector.

All you can expect from a good mattress cover. As we did not really believe in the touted cooling quality of this product (or of any other mattress pad for that matter) we were in no way disappointed that it doesn't. The diamond quilt pattern of the pad is perhaps a bit too pronounced and always visible through the fitted bed sheet, no matter how much you try to straighten out the sheets after a good night's sleep; this is a very minor flaw, however.
