Nothing too fancy about this other than the fact it does fit very well and nothing moves around while driving most definitely not. Very similar to other mounts of its type but a nice rugged feel nonetheless and I would buy again for another vehicle If I needed to. I'm 4 months in and nothing has changed still very happy with it although I have a small car and it seems kind of too close to my face but that's not the products fault it's just that I have a small Subaru but I have an infotainment screen anyway so I don't use it for anything bigger than a 7 or 8-in mini tablet anyway so it works perfect

It works really well in my work van for the iPads we use. Only complaint would be the part that holds the side of the iPad itself need to be extended. There is an otter box case on it, and if you hit a bump it may pop out.

Check your dimensions, make sure it will hold your tablet where you want it. This one does a good job. Holds sturdy in the cup holder. Easy to tighten. Sometimes the shaft will shorten... but still a solid performer.

Great product, very adjustable, robust. The problem, my cup holder has a moveable arm that adjusts to accommodate different size cups. With a 10" pad mounted in the bracket, it was top heavy and the moveable arm wouldn't hold and the entire assembly would fall out. I expanded the holder to maximum size but still wouldn't stay in. Really it's a problem with the car design rather than the product.

I like this and it would work for me if it was easier to get to the (2) release buttons while holding my FOLD3 when it is open. When it is closed it is easier but you still need both hands because of how tall it is; it doesn't really release the hold any further - you have to, with one hand grab the phone and push up or down to open the grip all while still holding the release buttons with the other hand.It is even harder with the phone flipped open as you need to reach behind the phone to access the release buttons and still have to use the other hand to fully release the phone. You almost have to completely turn the thing around to get access to those release buttons when you have anything that exceeds 2 3/4" (2.75") in width as this would exceed the width of the mount itself and then you will start to have the trouble accessing the release buttons. So imagine doing this every time you enter and exit your vehicle. In my opinion, this is not worth the trouble.This is the reason I am sending this back; it is just too much hassle for this to work for me.hth

Very versatile. Fits in cup holder. Can accommodate my iPhone or iPad.
